I'm pretty sure they don't have to do a lot of convincing, a lot of celebrities just show up because they want to see the show.

If they have Daniel Bryan vs. Kane, Dr Shelby should be the referee. Prior to the match, Shelby brings out a special 'time keeper' assigned for the match. It turns out to be Pete Rose and Kane destroys him before the bell even rings.

Agreed. The Netherlands is the current world champ but at the time it was barely in the news. It's all about soccer and ice-skating when the time is there. Personally I really like baseball and watched our team becoming the champs.
