I could say that name to every one of my friends and I bet very few of them would have any idea who he is. Not that this really matters but baseball isn't that big a deal outside of the US and Japan.
Anyway if they do bust out a big star for 'Mania, I just hope it isn't a musical act who will perform. They always seem to bomb at 'Mania in recent times. Unless McMahon has been keeping Tupac hostage for 16-17 years waiting for the perfect time to cash in on the biggest conspiracy in the music industry's history. If that's the case, sure, bring on the music ¬¬

Last time I checked, Canada has a baseball team(that is the fave of the entire league to win the world series this year....)
I think people exaggerate the lack of popularity of MLB outside of North America. Look at the world baseball classic, you got guys from many diff places like Dominican,Japan,Australia,Brazil,Spain,Italy and so on. Many players in MLB have huge number of jersey sales outside of North America(and it's not like these players are the ones from Japan, it's normal players from USA and stuff)

Re: This year's "celebrity" appearance?
Give one of them an enforcer or maybe a referee role and it will work out, maybe Show/ Ryback is so epic that no normal referee can manage, so they call in Money or Shaq, or something like that, there are ways to insert refs into these things subtly that improve buy-rates while not tampering with the match too much.

Re: This year's "celebrity" appearance?
There shouldn't be a celebrity appearance. Technically The Rock fills that criteria, and to a lesser extent The Miz does as well.

He's celebrity cult is over.
I'd like to have Ziggler vs. Tim Tebow instead.

IMO Shaq and Trump are the people known most worldwide and A-Rod and LeBron aren't.
I'm english and I barely know who A-Rod is.

True. Trump's brand has already expanded in my country. And since basketball is the #1 sport (sorry, football here is for the rich), Shaq is a sports icon for my generation.

Re: This year's "celebrity" appearance?
Charlie Sheen & Pete Rose could be part of a Daniel Bryan vs Kane match
Donald Trump would make the HOF class this year
Prob some member of the NY Giants would be involved
