Re: This year's "celebrity" appearance?

I've been saying for months that it's going to be 3MB vs. Santino, Ryder, and Tim Tebow. They will form Team TeCoBro. It's obviously a huge headline to get the most polarizing athlete in professional sports today to perform on your PPV, it's not a situation where he will need to be taken seriously, it's in the largest market in the world and taking place at MetLife Stadium, where the Jets play, and since WWE is PG, it really shouldn't conflict with Tebow's beliefs nor WWE's standards. Match will end with Slater getting pinned by Tebow. Plus, it's a really good way to utilize Ryder who should be in high demand. Ironic part is, this will be the most playing time Tebow has had in MetLife all year haha.

As far as the HoF, I'm saying either Trump (because of his relation with WWE at WM23 and even his early business partnership with Wrestlemanias) or Lawrence Taylor (Giants great, main evented WM11.)

Didn't Floyd Mayweather say he'd be involved?

I think The Rock being there is enough, but if they bring in Floyd, I wouldn't have a problem with that if they do something useful with him. His match vs. Big Show at WM24 was actually good.

Re: This year's "celebrity" appearance?

Please leave these "celebrities" away from the ring. I hate it. If you have them used as an enforcer of some sort (Tyson for example) then it is fine. But when they start getting wrestling matches over some actual wrestlers on the roster, it sort of annoys me.

Re: This year's "celebrity" appearance?

This year the idea of Shaq/Show was brilliant and could have been a great spectacle but unfortunately it was canceled and Show worked some meaningless match in the middle of the card. If they can do the Shaq match for WM29 it can be great. Other than the possibility of Shaq who always wanted to work a WM. They're probably going to waste Mayweather on Brock/HHH 2 in some enforcer role.

How about NO FUCKING WRESTLING CELEBRITIES?!

I mean gotdamn. Brock Lesnar and The Rock (and maybe also HHH & Undertaker) are already on the card, no need for stupid celebrity gimmicks.

Re: This year's "celebrity" appearance?

Brock Lesnar and The Rock are enough. A Hollywood movie star and an MMA icon.

But if there has to be one, I would not mind Floyd Mayweather or Shaq

THERE IS ONLY ONE DIAMOND IN THE BUSINESS AND HIS NAME IS TITUS O'NEIL

Oh dear NO! I don't want to see him involved anything to do with the WWE. The worst part about celebrity involvement is that they're all about themselves and give nothing to the story. Sure they may help the business side but that's irrelevant to me.

Hey, I thought Money had one of the most entertaining matches on the WrestleMania XXIV card and that was a great show. This show was built on celebrity involvement and in some shape or form a celebrity will always appear or play a role in WrestleMania. It's one of the big features of McMahon's creation. I'm not saying I love celebrities at Mania all of the time because there have been some awful ones, but it's like a permanent fixture of the show almost as much as special attraction matches filled with the biggest stars in the WWE and huge title wins.

Agreed!
I think Snooki being involved at WM27 was bad enough for me.
