As usual internet fans jump to conclusions without letting things play out. Around summerslam three months ago, almost everyone predicted HHH was going to beat Lesnar but that didn't happen, heck Lesnar dominated, destroyed and made him tap out. How about a little patience? I don't think Lesnar vs HHH rematch is going to happen, I will reserve judgement until its actually confirmed.

Pfft.. without the COO character, Punk is just another guy chasing the title along with Cena or against Cena. His shoot against WWE would have gone forgotten. You have no clue how and why authority figures are used. Triple H's presence as the authority gave punk legs to stand on as a rebel. Heck, the biggest reason why Internet fans marked out at the time was because punk was ripping on the HHH and stephanie almost every week. Nash was brought in due to lack of starpower. Other than Cena and HHH, Punk had no one else credible to feud with and they needed someone. Look at punk now, quite possibly the most hated superstar on the internet right now.

And where did you "hear" that exactly? Its bullshit.
And no offense to Lesnar/Taker history, but Vince hates every inch of ABA Taker or non-kayfabe Taker. So, building the feud with "Taker never winning against Lesnar" or "they had a confrontation in UFC" is out of the question, at least if Vince is still the man in charge, that is.
This could be a reason but another thing which I think is a strong possibility is Taker's inability to work a stiff match with Lesnar at this stage. He's just too old and the report that came out a month ago about punk being considered pretty much said that they want punk to carry the streak match this wrestlemania. In anycase lets just hope its a good show regardless of the match-ups.
Oh and BTW, John Cena is your rumble winner next year, not sheamus, not ryback its going to be John Cena. I'm convinced its happening for sure.
