Ryback or Damien Sandow, but whoever who wins will face the WH champion, not the WWE champ.

Surprised Ryback's such a big favourte on the poll. I don't see him winning the rumble to face Punk at Mania. If they were going with that it would be senseless to have booked Ryback vs Punk three times(including the match on 7th on Raw) in just over three months. I think on that RAW the Shield will fully align themselves with Punk in that match. Ryback's got plenty of mileage left with them if it is booked right.
For me, the main event of mania will be Cena vs Rock vs Punk for the WWE title and due to that I think Cena, as much as he does not need the win, will win the rumble to get his shot at whoever the champion will be. I think Rock will win at the Rumble and Punk will be part of that match and that's a big main event.
Ryback's not a bad choice if he is going after World Heavyweight title but then Bryan or Orton are more likely opponents for Ziggler or Show at mania IMO.
Difficult to predict for sure but I just don't see Ryback winning the rumble. Other than Cena, it's anyone's guess.

It's usually a bigger dude or a main event star (think Orton, Cena) or a big dude (Ryback, Sheamus) but I would really like if they pull a 2004 and have a smaller wrestler win (think Benoit type). Daniel Brian would be the only choice but it does not seem like he is in the plans to be pushed the the next best thing would be Dolph Ziggler. But knowing WWE, it will probably be Ryback.

Undertaker is the only big man to ever win the Rumble. Kane and Big Show have never won it. Their job is to look dominant which they do a good job of. Big Show has been lastl to be eliminated twice (2000 by the Rock and 2004 by Benoit)

Doesn't Big John Studd count as a big man too(same height as Undertaker)?
Though still...surprising that the big guys don't win the rumble, when WWE always brings up the fact that the bigger stars have an "advantage" since it's harder to eliminate them.
You'd think that WWE would have a big guy win it one year, for that reason.

I did not know about that. Yeah they have had matches with Big Show, Kane and Taker all in the final four at various points and they usually are the last ones to get eliminated. (Brock Lesnar beat Taker in 2003).
If Ryback were to win it this year the very last person he eliminates has to be imposing to actually make it look like he had a chance of losing, he can't just kick someone in the gut and toss them out. Usually never happens like that.

Without a doubt.
He has too much momentum and potential for him not to win it. He's lost the last 3 PPV matches. If they want to make him a big star, winning the Royal Rumble will do just that.
