The Shield vs. Team Hell No & Ryback - MOTY

Team Hell No & Ryback vs. The Shield (Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match)

By order of WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon, the ultra-intense Ryback will join forces with WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No to battle The Shield at WWE TLC — in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match that could prove to be the ultimate showdown of pure destruction the like of which the squared circle has not seen in some time.

The stage was originally set for WWE Champion CM Punk to go one-on-one with Ryback, putting the illustrious title he’s held for more than a year on the line in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match against the eternally hungry No. 1 contender.

That all came to a crashing halt, however, on the Dec. 3 edition of Raw when Ryback put The Second City Saint through a table. Less than 24 hours later, Punk would undergo surgery for the injury (FULL STORY), putting the titleholder on the shelf temporarily and leaving a huge void in the upcoming pay-per-view picture.

Despite the unfortunate circumstances that will hold up a Punk vs. Ryback showdown, the new Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match that Mr. McMahon announced via an official statement and that will be decided for the first-time-ever by pinfall or submission was, in a way, fate (READ MR.McMAHON'S STATEMENT). After all, in a pay-per-view dedicated to pain and unpredictability, who better to headline the event than six Superstars hell-bent on complete and utter destruction?

For weeks now, the combination of Dean Ambrose (BIO), Roman Reigns (BIO) and Seth Rollins (BIO) have been running wild, launching seemingly unwarranted attacks on competitor after competitor in the name of “justice.” Through it all, three of their favorite targets have been none other than Ryback, Daniel Bryan and Kane.

In fact, the first time the trio assaulted Ryback at Survivor Series, it effectively cost him the WWE Title and left him hungry for retribution. “Feed [him] more!” (PHOTOS)

The Shield assaulted the dangerous WWE Tag Team Champions on both the Nov. 26 and Dec 3 editions of Raw, allowing the previously reluctant partners to find a whole new reason to be unified. When Kane & Bryan sought retribution against the mysterious trio, it was Ryback who emerged to add to their cause. (WATCH)

Ryback represents the perfect force-of-nature to take on the brutal faction. Since he emerged in WWE last year, the furious Superstar unleashed a non-stop onslaught on everyone in sight. And no one can dispute Kane & Bryan as two of the most ruthless competitors on the roster today.

But as intimidating as they are, time will tell whether it will be enough to overcome their virtually unknown adversaries who have shown, time and time again, they are capably of strategic anarchy. Find out who will emerge victorious when Ryback and Team Hell No lock horns with The Shield at WWE TLC — Sunday Dec. 16 at 8/5 PT, only on pay-per-view.

Re: Team Hell No & Ryback vs The Shield - TLC Match

You know what, I would have loved for Ryback to beat Punk and become the new WWE champion, but we all know that Punk would have beat him by another bullshit excuse. I mean that just looks bad for both guys. Ryback would look like the biggest fucking moron ever for falling for Punk's tricks again, and Punk would have looked like an even bigger pussy.

Anyways, about the match. Ryback/DB/Kane vs Shield in a TLC sounds like an awesome idea. A lot of interesting combos here. I can actually see a solid 4 star match here. All of the guys in the match are great in my opinion, and have something great to contribute. Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins will be a great little exchange if we get it.

Another thing is that this means that Ryback will probably win the match since WWE probably dont want him to lose for 3 straight ppv's and they dont want the Shield to get the better of him in every single encounter.

Re: Team Hell No & Ryback vs The Shield - TLC Match

CM Punk is a big loss, it sucks he won't be performing, but lets face it.. he was facing Ryback.. It wasn't gonna be some 5 star show, and we all knew Punk was gonna win. At least now, Punk gets a few weeks off and we get the debut of The Shield, against 3 big time players in A TLC MATCH. Talk about a pretty fucking decent debut match, and imagine if they win, it's gonna be even better. For the lack of Punk, I think WWE did a pretty good job of making up for it.

I bought tickets to the show and I was pretty damn disappointed to hear that Punk wouldn't be performing but this really, honestly, made up for it. I know these guys are gonna put on a show, its their debut and they need to make up for the lack of Punk. I'm just as, if not more excited for this show then I was last week. Whether the Shield wins or loses I'm gonna enjoy every second of seeing three young talented future champions debut. I'm fucking stoked. I don't see how anyone could be disappointed with this. We went from what was sure to be a lackluster TLC match ending in a likely interference from the Shield to help Punk win, to what could seriously be an amazing match. You protect Ryback for a 3rd straight loss for the title, you get a strong Shield debut, and you even get the cherry on top with Bryan and Kane being in the match. Imagine some of the moments between Bryan and Ambrose/Rollins.

On top of that you've got Sheamus/Show who've been putting on some entertaining ass matches, and the unpredictability of the Cena/Ziggler match, and how many different ways it could go depending on who wins and if they cash in that night. AND on top of that, I get to see Wade and Cesaro potentially win and retain the mid-card titles. I don't see how anyone could think this show isn't gonna be good. It's got serious, serious potential.

I'm about honor
Where honor no longer exits, I'm gonna step in

sucks that not there will be no WWE Title Defense or Tag Team Title Defense

But I like the creation of this match and the stipulatin. Even though it might be too soon, finally to get the 3 actually show their wrestling talents. Rollins style in this match will be a lot of fun& Reigns power style will be interesting as well.

+ Ambrose with all those objects at his diposal? He is going to go completely berserk.

Re: Team Hell No & Ryback vs The Shield - TLC Match

I posted this in another thread but thought it would be relevant here too:

I'm not liking this idea for Ryback/Hell No vs Shield in a TLC match.

It's bad enough we have to not have a WWE title match, now we're not getting a Tag team Title match either. Seeing as it was the tag team division that made the TLC matches, i'd expect them to have a big match at the PPV which showcased the division.

Shield also attacked Miz and Orton, why not have Ryback/Miz/Orton against the shield in a tables match? Orton and Miz dont seem to have any feud's going into the PPV so its not like you're sacrificing anything with putting them in the match. This way you get ryback in a match, you can pay-off the storyline with him and the shield and it'll be in a match that's relevant to the feud (didn't we just have Vince and Vickie talking about how you need something to win in a ladder match re: Ziggler/Cena? Surely that applies to TLC matches too so why are we getting this only win by pinfall or submission bullshit?)

Put Hell No in a TLC or even a ladder match for the titles with PTP, Mysterio/Cara and Kidd/Gabriel. That could be the match of the night!

They could even have a heavyweight title match as the main event if they do what was described earlier on with having ziggler cash in on Sheamus/Show and win the title, think he's gotten one over on Cena and then Vince says that the main event will be a ladder or TLC match for the world heavyweight championship with Ziggler v Cena.

This way you get:

1. Ryback as one of the front and centres of the show like WWE want, in a match where they're not wasting talent and Miz and Orton have a good match to be in which will also be a fantastic showcase of the talent of The Shield. Could even have The Shield lose to fuel Vince's big man obsession as long as they take some good bumps and show they're not just jobbers.

2. A potential match of the night and classic TLC or ladder match for the tag team titles with Hell No v PTP v Mysterio/Cara v Kidd/Gabriel

3. A brand new main eventer in Dolph Ziggler and someone who looks formiddable as champ by winning the title and presumably defeating john cena in the same night.

I thought of that scenario in 5 minutes, with all the creative people they have there no-one thought of this idea or thought it would be a fantastic way of saving a most likely sub-par ppv? It just seems like common sense?...

Re: Team Hell No & Ryback vs The Shield - TLC Match

Wow, I thought they were joking when a poster said it'd be TLC only with submission and pinfall the only way to win. These ladder spots and tables spots are gonna seem forced. They might as well have just called it Extreme Rules. I suppose you can add TLC to No DQ, Extreme Rules, Street Fights and No Holds Barred to names which mean exactly the same thing.

On the other hand, this match is slightly less predictable. I can see Ryback winning but who knows, maybe Punk or Heyman will interfere.

Also I suppose this is Tornado Tag Rules, because that will be cool.

Polly fucking Anna...
