I don't get why it was right for Bryan to take the pin, unless you plan on using the momentum from this match to elevate him.

An absolute mess of a match, just carnage everywhere, action everywhere.

I fucking loved it.

This was a very good match last night, I'd still say that Cena/Brock was a lot better though. That one had a real fight feel and had everyone on the edge of their seats.

I wouldn't necessarily call it a MOTY, but it might be as important as any other match that has taken place this year. That's what I'd call a star making performance from The Shield. They took that opportunity and knocked it out of the park. I was hoping for an entertaining match; this was something else. Ambrose, Rollins, and Bryan were particularly great, but everyone shone. Ryback was kept strong, Kane had his moments. This was The Shield's night though.

The match reminded me a little of E&C/Hardys from No Mercy '99, in that few people really new what to expect and by the end of the match the world was glued to the action. If WWE continue to keep The Shield strong and the The Shield continue to perform like that - made men.

Think everyone have different preference ...

Just glanced through some comments.

Brock/Cena? Imo Shield match is better for me.

HHH/Taker, that is a notch better.

----------

Looking into the new year... some possible dream matches: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1...y-still-happen

HBK vs HHH
Lesnar vs Undertaker
CM Punk vs Stone Cold
Lesnar vs The Rock
CM Punk vs The Rock

WWE should have one of this dream matches per year, and they're set for 5 good & safe years, lol.

It was enjoyable and great for making the shield legit, I just hope they also elevate Bryan. It would be a shame to see Bryan held back after being such an integral part of that match

It was an awesome match. Every single one of them looked strong. Bryan took the pin but he damn didn't look weak during that match. Rollings fall from the ladder was brutal. Reigns spear trough the barricade was awesome. The supplex from the table on the top rop of the corner was fresh and cool. The match just kept on going and going and going. Ryback really needs to get matchritme because he was chilling way too long on that announcers table.

Match of the Night for me and definately worthy of ME a PPV. Great debutmatch for The Shield and i hope they can keep the momentum alive.

Tbf Bryan taking a pin there doesn't hurt him at all. He looked like a fucking superstar in that match. They all did, really. His 3 on 1 vs the Shield was one of the best moments of the match. I'm a big Bryan fan, but this might be the one time I wanted him to not go over. Guy is over as hell, and was a great choice to be involved with The Shield feud.

I completely agree. Actually found myself worried when he had Ambrose in the LeBell/Yes/No Lock even though that's normally a mark out moment. Ryback sucks but the other five were all fantastic.
