Re: Your favorite Royal Rumble and favorite Rumble moments.

At 11 years old, 1998 was the best....to an 11 year old. Austin was just so good, was a fun rumble and Foley making 3 appearances was gold.

I was always enjoyed 2004...

2001 was very good.

The 2007 ending of Michaels and Taker was pure greatness and a taste of what was to come at WM25 & 26.

Rumble 92 is the undisputed greatest, IMO. I know people praise 2000, but I personally thought it flat out sucked.

Re: Your favorite Royal Rumble and favorite Rumble moments.

My first Rumble that I ever watched was 1992, and only about 10 years later did I truly appreciate it. Royal Rumble 1998 was the first one I remember watching on Video a couple of weeks afterward, though, and being aware who 90 % of the wrestlers were and the stories going in, and 2000 was the first one I ever watched Live thanks to Channel 4.

My favourite moments that instantly come to mind are Takas "elimitation" in 2000. Too Cool dancing in 2000. Owen falling down the steps chasing someone in 1998, haha. Flair winning the belt in 2000.

And number one, John Morrison in any of his Rumbles pulling off ridiculous moves.

Re: Your favorite Royal Rumble and favorite Rumble moments.

My favorite Rumbles are 2001, 2004 and 2007. All three had great endings and plenty of memorable parts. From Benoit winning to Kane's dominant rampage to the HBK/Taker showdown, all three are very memorable.

Favorite Rumble: A tie between 1992 and 2002.
Favorite Moment: Heenan's commentary and one I personally got a cheap laugh out of was when Scotty 2 Hotty was dancing down to the ring in 2002 and Undertaker knocked him out.

Re: Your favorite Royal Rumble and favorite Rumble moments.

My favorite Royal Rumble match will always be 1992 which was star studded beyond belief with Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, The Undertaker, Randy Savage, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Jake Roberts, Sid Vicious, Ted DiBiase, Shawn Michaels, The British Bulldog, Tito Santana, The Big Boss Man, Kerry Von Erich and Sgt Slaughter and Bobby Heenan produced the greatest single match commentary in wrestling history during that match.

All time favorites moments would be Shawn Michaels winning for the second year in a row in 1996, John Cena returning in 2008, Austin/Rock standoff in 2001, Hogan/Warrior standoff in 1990, Michaels/Undertaker as the final two in 2007, Cena/Punk standoff in 2011, Foley/Triple H going at it in 2008 eight years after their classic match and Sid Vicious eliminating Hulk Hogan in 1992.

Re: Your favorite Royal Rumble and favorite Rumble moments.

Gotta be one of the most incredible moves in RR history.

Also I'm torn between 1992 & 2001 as my favorite Rumbles ever, Kane being a beast and Rock vs. Austin, or Ric Flair attacking everyone in sight & Heenan going crazy every time Flair's almost eliminated are classic moments

Re: Your favorite Royal Rumble and favorite Rumble moments.

2001 and when Rock and Kane were going at it for a while. and when Austin's music hit when the BOD were standing in the ring, I thought shit was gonna go down until HHH attacked Austin from behind. Man that year was a GREAT year to be a fan as was 2000.
