Wouldn't have made more sense with going Austin v. Rock at SummerSlam 2001?

I know Triple H's injury changed the plan of attack with the invasion angle, but hypothetically let's say the invasion angle or ppv hadn't taken place already wouldn't it have made more sense to go with Rock and Austin at that years SummerSlam? I mean the match would have wrote itself plus they could have pulled the invasion angle off as a way to keep the belt on Austin and then have them fight over who is the captain of team WWF.

even after the invasion ppv it would have made more sense to have the infighting in the wwe team and keeping austin on team wwe. there was no need to bury wcw/ecw by having shane o'mac austin and angle on team alliance.

Austin should have just been kept on his own not interested in the struggle not interested in team wwe not interested in team alliance just wanting to keep the belt so fliting between team and team with their wrestlers helping austin in title matches to try to sway him to there side. At Survivor Series Rock and Austin face off one on one rock still wcw champion austin wwe champion make the undisputed belt here (sorry jericho) Angle takes Rocks place in team WWE and team alliance actually has some WCW wrestlers in it. DDP/Dudleys take shane austin angle spots. or better yet bring in the steiners.
