This was all planned
I have been away from boards for a few weeks but this whole Punk injury has been planned, right? That's why they introduced the Shield, right? To get a interesting Ryback match. Also, if you noticed, before they announced the injury, only Kane and Bryan made the save, not Randy Orton. He was attacked that night as well. All this time, they weren't really working an angle for Team Hell No.
Is Punk really hurt? Are they keeping him out of Ryback's way so they don't hurt Ryback's character and keep Punk vs. Rock.

Re: This was all planned
I wouldn't say it was planned. Punk had a legitimate injury. I think though that they took the opportunity to get out of a horrible booking scenario.
It was just coincidence but it works out for the better, I guess. Ryback doesn't have to lose for s straight third ppv in a title match.

If you actually read his post you'll see that what he actually did was ASK if Punk was injured or if it's all a work, being that he hasn't been around places like this to know for sure.
Imagine a guy legitimately not believing something a wrestling company tells them, eh? He must be a real doofus for not just eating it up like a good little mark.

Re: This was all planned
Sources say they knew Punk had a chance of being injured, which is why they did the whole 'Team Hell No' coming for the save, and Punk getting put through a table angle. Also originally they could have been planning Orton and Team Hell No vs The Shield, but Punk's injury changed it to Ryback and Team Hell No vs The Shield.

I think this was the original plan too. WWE finally seem to have dropped the Orton ADR feud and Orton is doing nothing at TLC.

Re: This was all planned
I doubt it was planned, but WWE always makes something like this connect(meaning taking real life events, and incorporating it into a show). People will probably say "they faked Jerry Lawlers heart attack, so Punk/Heyman could make fun if it once he came back"

Re: This was all planned
It's clever booking once they realized that Punk had an issue. They handled it well, and now we get Punk in a wheelchair tonight being pushed around by Heyman. It's gonna be all kinds of awesome.
