Dwayne Johnson in a world title unification match in 2013. That perfectly goes to show everything wrong with pro wrestling these days.

Re: Dolph Ziggler vs John Cena - Ladder Match
After Raw I wonder if they will have Vickie make Brad Maddox the referee and help Ziggler, or maybe he's sent down after a bump to the original referee. I'd be surprised now if Dolph did lose the briefcase, but after all it's Cena. If he was up against anyone other than Cena there wouldn't be any doubt in him keeping it.

Re: Dolph Ziggler vs John Cena - Ladder Match
considering how one sided this feud has been over the last few weeks, Ziggler has to be getting the win at the PPV.

Re: Dolph Ziggler vs John Cena - Ladder Match
Quote:
WWE top star John Cena brought his trademark penis jokes back to television during an appearance on NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" Thursday night from New York City.
After promoting WWE's Tribute to the Troops specials, Cena was asked about his TLC PPV opponent, Dolph Ziggler, at the PPV from Brooklyn, N.Y. After Fallon ran down Ziggler, Cena asked for a solo camera shot to deliver an altered-voice promo on Ziggler.
Cena, becoming increasingly red as he spoke, set up his big line toward Ziggler that "all your tan spray and hair-dye is just an excuse for your insignificant penis."
Cena continued that "we're lucky we're climbing for a briefcase and not your manhood." After vowing to have The Roots bandmember Questlove meet Ziggler at the Barclays Center with an empty-hand slap "like a gentleman," Cena closed by telling Ziggler that he's "staring down the barrel of loser" and "my finger is on the trigger."
Fallon the concluded the segment by promoting a hashtag of "#CenasBetter," playing up a bit earlier in the show when Fallon introduced Christmas song-related hashtags.

Re: Dolph Ziggler vs John Cena - Ladder Match
I can definately see the title changing hands more than once at TLC. It makes sense to have Ziggler cash in on the winner of the chairs match after the looser takes the winner out, either Sheamus with a chair or Big Show with the WMD. Then end the show with Ziggler defending against Cena(has to be in the ME right?) and I really don't care who wins in that match but it would be better than them fight for the briefcase.

Re: Dolph Ziggler vs John Cena - Ladder Match
Just an idea I had the other day:
If they are willing to play off AJ as this psycho chick who constantly gets herself into problems and becomes a burden on Cena, let's have The Shield interfere, or abduct AJ, leading to Cena chasing after The Shield, then giving Ziggler the win. The "injustice" could be Cena lowering himself to dating a crazy, immature little girl instead of keeping himself at the top of his game and chasing after the WWE/WHC harder.
And then I woke up. So long as Ziggler wins, I'll be happy. If Cena wins, then.. well, I don't know. Sad day.

Re: Dolph Ziggler vs John Cena - Ladder Match
Just make this match the main event. Whether it's for the briefcase or for the WHC (if Ziggler cashes in earlier in the night), I'd rather see this match main eventing than Ryback for the 3rd consecutive PPV.

Re: Dolph Ziggler vs John Cena - Ladder Match
I think Cena will do something backstage to AJ (easy guys). Something like shout at her to leave him alone so he can get ready for his match or something causing AJ to get annoyed and cost him the match later on. Or cut a back stage scene with Ziggler talking to someone (but we can't see). Obviously it would be AJ etc.

Re: Dolph Ziggler vs John Cena - Ladder Match
Figured I'd post my thoughts on this before it goes down on Sunday.
I'm excited. Say what you want about the angle that led towards this bout. It's gotten Ziggler to the highest level of his career. Combine the aspects of wrestling John Cena & the Money in the Bank Briefcase on the line and it's actually pretty huge. On that alone I'm very excited to see this match. Cena and Dolph have proven their chemistry is strong. Always seem to give you a match worth viewing every time. Toss in a ladder in the middle of it and who knows what we can expect. Cena's only worked a handful of ladder matches in his time. (what, about two?) We all know what Dolph is willing to do in a match. He's known to take some boss bumps. Combine that together + their chemistry and what to expect is pretty unpredictable.
As for the result...there could be some shenanigans going down. AJ specifically. I can say I see Dolph leaving with the HUGE win to hold onto his briefcase. Cena winning isn't an option I'll sleep on. Who knows what the WWE has in store for the Road to WrestleMania at this time. Cena being World Champ could be the lead in all along. At the end of the day, my pick is on Dolph to win this. Gonna keep that momentum rolling into a big show like Rumble. Who knows, maybe Dolph will be the World Heavyweight Champion by Monday. Lots of possibilities feed through this match.
