Re: What is the best way to change the "Chairs Match"?

Here's an idea:

Make it a variant of capture the flag. Two chairs. Each a different color. One red, one blue.
At the start of the match the chairs are in opposite corners.

To win you have to get the other's guys chair and hit him with it 3 times. So if you start in the red corner, you have to get around the other guy, grab his blue chair, and hit him with it 3x to win.

You can hit him with your own (in this case the Red) chair as many times as you want, it's only when you hit him with the Blue chair 3x that you win. And vice-versa.

It has some capture the flag drama. Plus after the wrestler gets hit once, he can grab the chair and throw it outside the ring. Each wrestler always has to choose whether to defend his chair or go and get the other chair.

Anyway, just an idea. I agree the chair match as it currently exists is kinda boring.

Needing to land 10 shots before you can go for a pin? Or you can only win with a chair shot (although seeing as they cant be hit in the head anymore that would suck)

You need to successfully chair a meeting of the WWE creative team without Michael Hayes saying something racist.

Re: What is the best way to change the "Chairs Match"?

Whoever can get a chair from ringside, unfold it and sit on it first. Just like in ladder matches where they milk it by climbing the ladder for twenty minutes, they slooooowly unfold the chair, sloooowly place it on the mat, slooooowly go to sit down but BAM it's broken up bah gawd he was so close his butt was literally inches from the seat

Cover the chairs with spiders, I'm not sure what would happen, but it would make it much more entertaining.

Re: What is the best way to change the "Chairs Match"?

take all the chairs around the ring, remove everything from under the ring too, and transform into a normal fight
