Default The jobber survivor series match

Lol so they just decided to take all the jobbers and put them in their own survivor series match? I'm sure the crowd was really excited for that unannounced pointless jobber filler match. I just skipped over that match, because i wasn't about to sit and watch 15 minutes of pointless filler that wasn't going to mean anything anyways. What a terrible way to open the show up with a bunch of guys who's never on tv, yeah thats sure to get the crown excited. Honestly they should have just opened the show up with Team Foley vs team Ziggler, or even the WHC match any of those would have been a much better way to start the show off.

I don't care if it was a great match. Is it going to mean anything? is it going to advance any storyline? It was not even announced on the card, its like they just went in the back and grabbed the nearest jobbers and said "hey go out there you're in the opener tonight". Thats the problem with WWE nowadays all the damn pointless filler, is it too much to ask for every match and segment to advance a storyline or mean something? This would have been a good match for say, Superstars or Main Event but the opener to one of WWE's biggest ppvs of the year? no. This was so obviously booked to fill up all the extra time they had because they didn't bother to build more feuds. I have no problem with the match in general i do have a problem with it just being a throw away filler match, they could have at least put some build into it.

I don't think you have a right to criticize a match you didn't watch. It was fantastic. The purpose of it was to heat up the crowd with an awesome match. It served its purpose.

I didn't say it was a bad match, did i? I just said it was a jobber filler match, which it was regardless if it was a good wrestling match or not. Thats one reason i don't watch Superstars, because every match is pointless and builds no one up. This match is not gonna result in any of those guys getting any kind of push. I don't like to infest my time watching something thats just a one time thing and doesn't mean anything. If you like to watch matches just for the quality be my guest, but none of those guys in the match interest me in the least and thats WWE's fault.

I can watch NXT because at least on there the matches are getting guys ready for the main roster and serve a purpose other than something to fill up the time. The wrestlers on Superstars and in all the filler on Raw are just floating around until they get released, WWE has no interest in using any of them in any way except filler.

It may create story-lines though, it was the match on monday with a twist and two extra jobbers. The PTP and Airstrike may get a push since Rhodes Scholars is going to be out for awhile and Team Hell No probably won't stay a team for much longer.

So, OP, you can only enjoy a match if it's meaningful and leads into further storylines, no matter how good the match may have been? So by this logic, nobody should watch any game in the NFL bar the Superbowl, and a match couldn't be great unless it was the Superbowl, just because that has meaning..... great reasoning.

Oh God, a good match with good wrestlers, truly this is the end times, and you would of course know OP, since you spent all of 5 seconds watching it. God forbid I watch a wrestling match and enjoy myself.

And since when was Rey Mysterio a jobber?

I didn't say you said it was a bad match, did I? I said you were criticizing it. They're trying to build the tag team division and they used this match to put four tag teams who have had matches and mini feuds with each other together. Also, Tensai has sort of feuded with the likes of Kidd and Gabriel and even Brodus Clay.

At No Way Out a few months ago, three of those teams competed against each other. They've also all been in a tournament trying to get the number one contender spot for the tag titles. Also, the masks and PTP have faced each other a lot lately.

This definitely didn't come out of nowhere and the guys in it weren't jobbers. As singles competitors, Epico and Primo might be jobbers, but they're legitimate as a tag team.

Well the PTP may get a push, but wasn't they on the losing team anyways? So it would have made more sense to at least let them pick up the win to build them up some. But the faces won and i can't see WWE pushing anyone of those faces. The Prime Time Players was the only ones in the match that has potential to be pushed since they have charisma and can talk on the mic, but they ended up losing.

Airstrike? i take it thats Gabriel and Kidd, right? They was a tag team at the beginning of the tag team revival but WWE didn't show any interest in using them, i don't see that changing unfortunately.
