Something tells me they are not joining Punk. Just a three-men faction that wants to make an impact. And if played well, they will.
Today's RAW is going to be awesome.
That was a quality debut but I'm not going to look too far into it yet. Remember when WWE did something similar with Brett DiBiase a few years ago? He was then featured for about 30 seconds the next night on Raw, sent back to FCW and then released. Hopefully Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins are featured more than DiBiase ever was and I'm really looking forward to seeing how Rollins performs. He was very highly rated when he was in ROH and seen as the next CM Punk so hopefully he can fulfil some of his promise. As far as Ambrose goes, he's criminally over-rated, the IWC seem to be expecting far too much from him and will most likely be disappointed when they finally get to see him in the WWE because his main strengths are his promos but in the WWE they'll be scripting him, so he wont be at full strength. Then you look at Ambrose as an in-ring wrestler and he is very sloppy and far from a polished performer.
Honestly, Ambrose would have been enough. Just have him come down with a lead pipe, or a bat. Punk, Heyman, and Ambrose would be perfect for all of this.
I'm a Dean Ambrose fan and I think he is just different enough to have a solid career on the main roster. Seth Rollins is okay in a Jeff Hardy kinda way. But, if these 3 stay on the roster the problem here is they are with Reigns. Reigns is a big guy with a great physique who has a great look. You could see it last night he's the one who standouts among the group. Maybe, not on the mic or in the ring but he has a look and presence that Ambrose and Rollins don't have. It's like putting Cm Punk and Jeff Hardy in a stable with The Rock take one look at the three and you see who is obviously the star of the group.
But at the same time, wondering if Ambrose should be by himself. Hope these three become the orton/batista, because they definitely are more talented and entertaining.
Is Ambrose the guy who was trading pops with Foley earlier in the year? I only knew Rollins out of the three but Ambrose's name rang a bell. I didn't know the dude was so popular on here! The stable could be good, not what I wanted for Rollins as his debut on the main roster but if it's with Punk then great. If it's led by Brad Maddox, maybe not.
Ambrose debuting is good and all, but that table spot was insane. Surprised no one has even mentioned it yet. Great way to debut imo, for all three men, taking out Ryback like that. Brutal shit.
From a booking standpoint the timing of it makes sense for a big Ryback push moreso than a Ambrose push. Obviously if Ambrose is as good as people say he is his time will come soon but I don't think it will within the next few months. I think it's more likely to have Ryback face all 3 at TLC and win, then potentially face Big Show at royal rumble for the WHC
I just don't know if i agree with him being in a group, i would have rather had him be by himself. In a group he doesn't stand out as well as he would have by himself, in a group he's just "that other guy". Also can he even play his demented gimmick in this group? I'll be pissed if he comes out on Raw acting like some normal guy, they better have him use his demented crazy guy gimmick. I don't wanna see some bullshit Nexus 2.0 with him being in the background of some group.
Jeah, that's a good point.
But I just can't imagine that he will just be "the other guy" or in the background.
He has to be the mouthpiece, Rollins isn't that good on the mic, Reigns... :/
We only can wait and see, what this monday and the next weeks happen.
It's just the beginning of his career. :mark:
I was distracted and just noticed some black cloths bitchslapping Ryback, thought "okay, Maddox has some cousins or shit" and only realised who they were when Cole yelled something along the lines of "wrblarer DEANwrblwrbl Seth wrb is that Ambrose", and then I laughed my arse off and shed a tear for the spanish announce table
