It's between Wrestlemania and Extreme Rules for me. The former had the awesome feel good main event and the HIAC match while the latter was awesome almost top to bottom with a very good opener in Kane/Orton, an excellent Bryan/Sheamus match and classic main event between Lesnar/Cena, excluding the dreadful ending.
And that dreadful ending was exactly why that main event was a piece of crap, and I wasn't a fan of the show. There's was a good amount of decent stuff on there (I don't think Sheamus vs Bryan was as great as everyone else thinks but it was pretty good), and then when you get to the most important match, you get served with that large of a steaming turd...inexcusable. Don't care if the rest of the match was Kobashi vs Misawa, it gets a failing grade. The rest of the match was passable, but the ending ruined not just the match, but Brock Lesnar and the PPV overall (at least for me).
I'll go with WM28 just because it had my pick for best WWE match of the year (Taker vs Trips, nothing else the Fed has done this year comes close to how good that match was).
