92 easily, I had to squint my eyes and watch that shit scrambled on sky movies (dont think sky sports existed yet) and it still ruled.

2002. House clearance by Taker, with his shock elimination by Maven + reaction that lead to a one-sided brawl spilling into the crowd and beyond. Another reunion this time the Hardys & Lita. SCSA had his moment, stunners everywhere, even to burn time waiting for the next entrant. Awesome face-off between him and Triple H. Goldust of course returned. Mr. Perfect returned! Stone Cold's amusing elimination of Booker T. Kane and Big Show's clash of the titans, Kane impressive picking up 'Show and dumping him out of the ring. Obvious is was Triple H's rumble, but what a comeback. In short... that rumble had not a dull moment from start to finish.

2001 : Kane going crazy eliminating 11 people, Hardcore Rumble, highly entertaining appearance by Honky Tonk Man, Big Show epic return, Austin, Kane and Rock ending was just awesome and the participants overall were just a great mix. 1999 was my second fave, Austin vs McMahon and the corporation was entertaining, McMahon would try anything to make sure Austin didn't win, Kane beating it up the asylum people, and yet again very entertaining, 1998 is my 3rd fave, Rock started becoming a true star at this point with the him and Austin finish, Mick Foley showing up as all 3 of his personas and I enjoyed the start with him and Chainsaw Charlie, awesome Rumble.

2001 Rumble is my personal favourite. It's just a ton of fun to watch every single time.

I watched that Rumble on VHS when I was about 6 or 7 years old and I still remember that.

When I think of the Rumble, I think of 3.

I had a videotape of 1992, and although I didn't appreciate it for what it was (Great commentary, great story, overall great match and fantastic roster,) I did really enjoy it. I think just the fact it was the first one I ever watched made me enjoy it no matter what, but as I've watched it since I really appreciate the things I mentioned in the brackets.

1998 was another one I had on video, and loved the Austin as the target man story. He had to win it too. I wasn't a fan of the Rumble being prior to the main event. I also remember and really enjoyed Foley entering as all 3 of his characters, Owen Hart falling down the steps was funny and Steve Blackman doing perhaps the greatest roundhouse kick I've ever seen.

I remember watching Royal Rumble 2000 live as the first one I had ever seen as it happened and not a few weeks/months later. Looking back, I'm amazed at how different 1998 and 2000 was in such a short time. 2000 to me seems like a completely different promotion. I loved the entire event and enjoyed the Rumble. Ridiculous as it was, the Too Cool and Rikishi moment was great, I will never forget Taka Michinoku's elimination and I was rooting for The Rock to win.

Favorite: 1992. The most star studded Rumble ever, with the winner getting the WWF Championship. Hogan, Flair, Savage, Piper, and Sid remained at the end. Incredible.

Least favorites: 1998, 2000. 98 was just Steve Austin and 29 other jobbers / midcarders. Was so obvious that he was winning. 2000, in my opinion, was just a bad PPV all around. Triple H and Foley was amazing, but the rest, Rumble match included, bored me.
