Team Foley vs. Team Ziggler (Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match)

In the three weeks since WWE Champion CM Punk and Mick Foley hand-selected the members of their Survivor Series teams, both factions have undergone drastic changes. But now, just days away from WWE’s fall classic, the lineups for this Sunday’s battle of attrition are finalized … thanks to the WWE Universe.

Via a RAWactive poll on Nov. 12, WWE fans voted in The Miz, originally a member of Team Punk, as the last member of Team Foley.

The compelling, unforeseen addition of The Awesome One to The Hardcore Legend’s team was only the latest in a series of head-spinning developments surrounding this Sunday’s Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match.

The unit originally known as Team Punk lost its captain when Raw Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero informed The Second City Saint he would be defending the WWE Title at Survivor Series in a Triple Threat Match against John Cena and Ryback. In the same breath, Team Foley lost its insatiable monster, Ryback.

Even before that, however, Team Punk was in disarray. On the Nov. 5 Raw, The Awesome One informed Punk’s agent, Paul Heyman, that he wanted no part of the WWE Champion’s squad. At that point still thinking Punk would be a team captain come this Sunday, Heyman sought out the services of Wade Barrett. The bare-knuckle brawler agreed to join in exchange for a yet-to-be-named favor from Heyman.

Once this Sunday’s WWE Title Match became known to all, The Queen Diva moved Dolph Ziggler into position as Team Punk’s new captain — a development that delighted The Showoff. Meanwhile, the rest of the former Team Punk — Alberto Del Rio and The Rhodes Scholars — remained intact.

Yet, still at a five-on-four disadvantage was Team Foley, a veritable team of WWE all-stars Randy Orton, Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston and WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No. Finally, on the Nov. 12 Raw, Foley’s fifth member was decided in an interactive RAWactive poll. The Miz, who requested to be added to the ballot, won in a landslide, garnering more Twitter hashtag votes than Zack Ryder and Santino Marella.

Proving himself, perhaps astonishingly, to be a team player, The Awesome One then went on to team with Kane and defeat Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow. Though the victory appears to have created, or intensified, the ill will between championship partners Kane & Daniel Bryan, the newfound aggressiveness displayed by The Miz assuredly heartened Team Foley supporters.

How will the many revisions to these two teams of A-level Superstars — including a noteworthy defection — play out this Sunday on pay-per-view? Will The Miz be able to play nice with his new partners, including the man who unseated him as Intercontinental Champion, “The Wildcat” Kofi Kingston? Is The Awesome One bringing any valuable insider information from Team Ziggler to the table?

And what of the other main event-caliber Superstars involved? “The Mexican Aristocrat” and “The Showoff” bested Kingston & Orton on the Nov. 12 Raw; can they carry that momentum in WWE’s fall classic? Where does the seeming loner, Wade Barrett, fit into the mix?

This Sunday on pay-per-view, the WWE Universe will lay be treated to one of the longest-running traditions in sports-entertainment: the Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match. With such huge star power and so many volatile elements, the only thing that can be counted on is that the match will have major implications for the WWE’s top tier heading into the close of 2012

its is confusing as hell, I must admit. Outside of Hell No & Rhode Scholars, everything else is a huge WTH.

Something I don't get is what is the point of this match now since both team captains have no feud with each other? It's just a random match with no real reason of why it happened when you look at it now.
Anyway it's awesome to see that Ziggler is getting a bit pushed since he was named the captain of the team, maybe finally he actually goes somewhere.
And here's hoping that the last member of Foley's team is The Rock but I don't have much hope for that to happen.

R-Truth likely have US Title match against Cesaro or a another SS match with him.

It should be Christian, Mark Henry, or a WWE Legend

Team Ziggler better win ESPECIALLY because of the fact that Barret is in Team Ziggler now and because of the fact that the fucktard Orton is on Team Foley,Though I can't say I can predict who will win this one.
