Re: .....So Survivor Series is looking kinda dull so far
I don't think it's too early. They started a buildup, announced a match, announced the competitors, and people are reacting.
Personally, I thought it was odd how Foley came out seemingly for no reason, used the word tradition, so Punk challenged him to the SS match. But that's fine. I was looking forward to the competitors. My first thought was: please don't just combine Hell in a Cell competitors. And that's what they did: the second they announced Del Rio, I knew Foley would have Orton. When they announced Rhodes Scholars, I knew Foley would have Kane and DB. When they announced The Miz, I knew they would have Kofi. And I had a feeling Foley would replace himself with either Ryback or Cena.
I remember when the SS matches were star-studded, or had something on the line, or both. Think about the SS matches from 2001, 2003 (Austin vs. Bischoff), the main events of 2004 and 2005, the teams from 2006, 2007, 2008.
This was an opportunity to bring back Brock Lesnar, or The Rock as the fifth team member to help set up Punk/Rock at RR, or even Cena.
And the idea of Cena down the card with Dolph seems like a match from RAW to me.
The only potential match I'm really looking forward to is Show/Sheamus II, which, if they give a stip, could possibly top the original.
