Re: .....So Survivor Series is looking kinda dull so far
Dude, we've seen ONE Raw. What is there to even judge yet? The traditional Survivor Series match? I don't even see why people are crapping on the teams so much. Let's take a look at the teams; Team Punk has The Rhodes Scholars, The Miz, Alberto Del Rio and of course, CM Punk. Rhodes Scholars are one of the most interesting teams in a long time. CM Punk is the WWE Champion and one of the best characters in a very long time. Then there's Miz and Del Rio, okay, I'll give you them, they suck.
Let's take a look at Team Foley now; Ryback, Team Hell No, Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton. Ryback is probably the hottest superstar right now, he's on the rise big time and will have been WWE Champion by this time next year, guaranteed. Team Hell No are the WWE tag team champions and the best tag team going right now, very entertaining. Kofi Kingston is awesome to watch in the ring and then there's Randy Orton, who has been suspected of getting a heel turn soon, so that's something interesting to look out for.
So what's the big problem with the teams, really? I mean, they have some of the most interesting characters in the WWE right now, which isn't saying much but there's nothing better. These are almost the best teams they could have put together, if they replaced Del Rio with Barrett, then these would be the best teams available.
Are you guys upset about the rest of the card? Okay, I'll give you that, it might not be the most interesting. We're going to have Cesaro/Truth, Show/Sheamus, Cena/Ziggler, Divas Title, Sin Cara/Rey in action and them maybe another filler match or two, not so great but not terrible either. Show/Sheamus put on a great showing at Hell in a Cell and since they'll probably get a stipulation for their rematch (Last Man Standing, anyone?) it'll be even better. Cena/Ziggler should be interesting and it'll be good to see Ziggler finally get some of the spotlight, even though he's certainly looking to take a loss. Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio are always fun to see in action.
So what's the big problem? Do people just like to complain? It isn't the best card ever but we've also only seen one show worth of build up and there is plenty of time left to build. I'm personally not too bummed about the show and I'm expecting some good build up. And hell, for all we know we could get Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar rematch, we know it's coming eventually, so why not at Survivor Series? I could see it happening.
