Nothing special, but not as bad as many people on here are making it out to be.

Del Rio vs Orton 5/10
It was decent overall. I personally didn't expect much from this one, so I wasn't let down in any way. Orton is great though, Del Rio's OK. Both are more deserving of the WHC than The Big Show or Sheamus though; mainly Orton, I miss heel Randy Orton.

Big Show vs Sheamus 8/10
It was very exciting and for the first time ever I can say well done to both of these superstars. They both don't usually interest me in the slightest, and personally, I don't think either should be holding titles (definitely not the WHC), but they both did an excellent job.

Ryback vs CM Punk 7/10
It's a difficult one to sum up in a brief paragraph. But I'll stay by saying Ryback was fine and didn't really disappoint; we all knew what was going to happen in regards to domination over a smaller CM Punk. The fact WWE are building him up means he was always going to get the better of Punk for the majority.

I personally thought there would be a twist that would cause Ryback to lose, but I didn't expect it to be by a referee at all; obviously it's the ref who caused problems with Punk when his foot was on the rope - he is also a wrestler himself.

The crowd wasn't great, that's my main issue. WWE couldn't have done much else. It's just interesting to see where they take all story lines now. I would like to think that Cena and AJ had something to do with Ryback losing and Cena turns heel and feuds with Ryback.

Also, when is Dolph cashing in. I'd guess Survivor Series, someone will face Big Show and injure him, Dolph runs down and wins the WHC. From there they can feud a returning Chris Jericho with a massively improved Dolph Ziggler.

Mediocre PPV. A average Raw is better. I regret spending money to see it. Main event ending was a disappointment. They climbed all the way up their to do a body slam? The creative department should be fired.
None of the matches were really top notch and the crowd in Atlanta was dead which made it worse. Allthough maybe the crowd was silent because they were pissed they spent money to watch that crap.

Well, I downloaded it for free, no way in hell I would pay for a WWE event these days. Anyway, I watched orton/del rio, was a good match. Skipped everything until Sheamus/Show. Was surprisingly a good match, maybe because I was expecting less, very happy with outcome, Sheamus just doesn't do it for me. Main event. The worst HIAC match in the history of WWE, no doubt. But hey it's PG, wtf can they do? Nothing. I personally liked the ending, it gets people talking about the show and RAW so I didn't mind that.

most people thought it was average to below average. i really don't get how over 50 people rated it a 7. i think some smarks have lost all ability to watch it just as an average fan and are watching it and thinking with a different mentality like they are in the business. there's now way an average fan that just wants good matches and to be entertained can think that was a good ppv. it sucked.

Fuck all the people voting this bad, WWE actually gave the mid card a good fucking time, especially the Cesaro v Gabriel match. Instead of it being some stupid, shitty one way match with a retarded pre-show royale contender, it was actually someone Cesaro got defeated by and had to redeem himself against.

That match was fucking good.

Not devastatingly bad, but just a bloated up RAW episode...

Since they did move and were able to make small noises, I asume the crowd was a paid ANC crew promoting the Walking Dead or something, Superstars and SMS have better atmosphere.

As for the matches:
Orton/ADR, no storyline, no point, average RAW match
Cesaro/Gabriel, if you understand german and can partially decipher his swiss, that promo was hilarious (basically "Halloween is for stupid american kids and their childish parents" in an accent that you just can't take serious due to it's cute pronounciation ;))
Tag Team match, nice solution to protect both teams, little bit of storyline progression, Goatface should go to Hollywood ;)
Shamoose and Big Show, feeling like the only "ppv" match, surprisingly good one by both of them, would have expected the Big Show's new 44s reign, but ziggles no-showed
CaraRey/ptp, RAW/SD match, zzzzzz
Divas, pissbreak (led to JBL's "that was as bad as my commentary on the Divas Match earlier", that's some bonus points :lmao)
Punk/Ryback, decent hiac, but not really that special wrestling wise. The climbing holes in the cell were visible from the very beginning, had a good laugh about it, as for the ending, that's it for Ryback, at least if they just ignore him and continue with the undefeated bullcrap until the next Punk/Ryback match. Gotta watch RAW now to see, if Maddox is a) alive and b) an actual angle

WWE Hell in a Cell 2012

1. Alberto del Rio vs Randy Orton - ***
2. Team Friendship vs. Rhodes Scholars - ** 1/2
3. Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz - ** 3/4
4. Justin Gabriel vs. Antonio Cesaro - ** 3/4
5. Mysterio/Sin Cara vs. Prime Time Players - ** 1/2
6. Big Show vs. Sheamus - *** 1/4
7. Divas - **
8. Cm Punk vs Ryback - *** 1/4

Overall: 5/10

It was fun being there live and none of the matches were bad really, but this is my new worst PPV of the year. No matches above *** 1/4. Now that I rewatched everything, my new MOTN is Big Show vs. Sheamus. It's not amazing, but way better than I expected it to be. I thought the Ryback/Punk match was going to suck but it was also way better than I expected. Finish is kind of lazy Russo booking but as long as Punk gets to face the Rock, I'm all for it. Every other match was just like a Raw/Smackdown match with a few new moves or things to make them slightly better but I just expect better quality matches from a PPV. It could have been way worse though.

Why was there only one Hell in a Cell match? I mean at Elimination Chamber both the WWE title and the World Heavyweight Title are contested inside the cage. But now Hell in a Cell only the WWE title is contested inside of the cage. The have used the World Heavyweight title to open shows several times. It is like they are degrading the title.

Why wasn't the World title defended in the cage?
