Ryback will win it and face Ziggler, I feel more confident of this because their definitely throwing more teases at Punk/Sheamus at WrestleMania.

John Cena has nothing to gain from winning the royal rumble. Nor does the company. Really he isn't the greedy title hungry ass-kisser that people seem to think he is. I guranteee it will not be him.

It wont be Punk either seeing as he will probably be in the title match itself that night.

Brock Lesnar is a real possibility because he has many dates left on his contract to fulfil that probably see him from the RR through to Wrestlemania. Ryback is another likely winner. An outside chance of The Undertaker if they want to make it believable that the streak just might end, as they do every year.

I think Cena will win the Rumble, go on to beat Dwayne at WM29 with the title on the line. Carry the title for longer than Punks reign, just to beat him.

In all seriousness, I'll be very disapointed if they do the Whole ONCE in a lifetime shit AGAIN

Me too. It will undermine the WM 28 main event. It will undermine the WM 29 main event. And it will undermine any tagline the WWE try to use in the future.

Plus you can't have the exact same main event two years running! At least Rock/Austin's matches were two years apart (and one of them wasn't even the main event).

At this point in time I can only see Ryback winning the Rumble, Cena is most deffinately not winning it. Giving Cena MITB and then the Rumble would just be stupid. He doesn't need a Rumble win to be in the title match at Wrestlemania. I could deffo see Punk losing the title to the Rock and then winning the Rumble in the same night though.

Remember, it is Cena we are talking about. No matter what role he takes part in, he'll be closing the show. They did it last year - It was great, I loved everything they did. Especially the promos WWE put together. They should keep it at that.

Beating Brock in his return match wasn't enough for Big John, he NEEDS to win the Rumble and make Rock tap out at Mania.

I have Randy Orton winning this year tbh. Cena doesn't need to win the Rumble to challenge The Rock. Hell, I could even see The Rock outright challenging Cena to face him again at WM anyway.

Cena winning the Rumble coupled with Rock getting the definitie shot at the title at the Rumble combined with Punk having kept the title the whole time between then. . .just would seem too predictable and forced, not to mention illogical. It makes Punk pretty much a 3rd wheel, which makes you think why they didn't just take the title away from him at any point before then?

Anyway, I think it's gonna be Orton. Or possibly someone who gets a decent power push between SS and RR the way Sheamus did last year.
