- In case you missed it on last night's RAW, John Cena announced that he has been medically cleared to wrestle. The feeling is that WWE officials will still take it easy with him over the next month or so. There are no plans to put him in the Hell In a Cell main event but he is expected to have a role. There has been talk of having Cena face the winner of Ryback vs. Punk after Hell In a Cell is over.

its good to hear they will take it easy on him. but they have to make him challenge the winner of the match?
so punk wins then, cause if Ryback wins the belt and then Cena takes it off him it will destroy his career. Ryback losing to punk is far more benificial to his career than losing to Cena as many peoples careers wither away after a loss to Superman...

Re: Backstage Update On Cena's HIAC Status
If Cena's cleared, why didn't they just have Vickie take away Ryback's title shot or something so that they could book a finish for the PPV without breaking Ryback's streak, because if he loses, it hurts his aura since he's all about being undefeated, and even if he wins he's gonna lose the title fast because Punk vs Rock is set in stone, and when he loses the title so fast, being the type of character he is it's gonna hurt him a shitload.

Oh god, imagine if Punk somehow beats Ryback and then Cena comes out and cashes in his CENA IN THE BANK and wins. It'll be like Hogan at WrestleMania IX.
I truly believe Cena isn't winning the title til Mania. I think Vince sees it better story material that way. Since by that time he would not have won since a year & a half and lost couple of Wrestlemania events in a row. And a win will finally get the monkey off his back especially if it is against The Rock and how much John wants to beat him. I know people will be outraged, but no way is Vince going to let Cena lose to The Rock again.
