No way is Ryback getting the belt, it's far too early. I do think it will be a 1v1 match up though as Cena isn't ready.

Heyman will bring back Lesnar to take out Ryback, Punk escapes the cell with the belt and the match ends in a no contest. Setting up Cena/Ryback vs Punk/Brock at Survivor Series.

You can't argue with Vince still having a hard on for the talentless roid heads though. The guy is gonna win multiple world titles, absolute minimum of 5, minimum, and likely into double digits, for no other reason than the way he looks. Just like Randy Orton, except it's a different version of "the look".

If there's one thing that history has taught us it's that good things happen when WWE is forced to detour their original plans. Every time.

It will be a triple threat match. Cena will somehow get his way in to the match, Punk can pin Cena to give Ryback an 'out' and have him still be 'undefeated' (although that's a copout). In all likelihood, feeling his new prize is under threat, Heyman calls up BROCK and he comes back and dismantles Cena/Ryback inside the cell, which leads on to the possible Survivor Series 5-on-5 tag match.

Just a matter of who joins Cena/Ryback and Punk/Lesnar on the teams though. Cena, Ryback, Taker, Kane & Bryan vs Punk, Lesnar, Cesaro, Sandow & Rhodes? Would give a sweet taste of Brock/Taker, allow Ryback to get his 'win' over Punk, provide upmost exposure for Cesaro....yeah, just makes too much sense.

Ryback is super over. He's getting the biggest pops at house shows and his 'FEED ME MORE' is so over right now.

When you're that over, I don't see the big deal that they are pushing him. They need new stars and when they are trying to make new stars, you moan about it.

This isn't some guy like Mason Ryan that is completely unover and they are trying to push him, he's more over and more talented.

Well, this is the match I didn't want.

On one side you have Punk who needs to win to keep his momentum and title reign going leading up until the Royal Rumble. If he loses and regains the title it is far far less interesting than if he goes uninterrupted.

On the other is RyBack, a new star in the making who is super over, but that is based on a winning streak. Losing this match will do him damage, but even more damage will be done if he wins and then loses the title to Punk later down the line.

Overall, Punk has to retain and RyBack's record has to be held as undefeated too. So maybe a no contest or something.

We will also have to see if Cena gets involved in some way.

I call dibs on GTS, Pepsi Plunge and running knee in corner. I am sure Sheamus will take the rest.

And they've spent months having him squash people, making him look completely unstoppable and having him pick up 2 guys at the same time almost every week for 7 or 8 months. Why wouldn't he be over?

Because the new stars they're trying to make suck. Sheamus, Ryback, Ziggler, etc. These people are boring. Push some good stars like they're doing with Punk and I won't complain. New stars and fresh matches don't exactly matter to me when I have no interest in those people.

Also, he didn't get pushed because he was over, he's over because he got pushed. There's a difference. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, because I would do the same with my favourites and I make no excuses about that, I absolutely would push un over guys and make them over through forcefeeding them, but it is the truth, that's what happened. He didn't just linger around doing nothing and get over. That's what Daniel Bryan did, and I don't know how, but props to that fucker for somehow managing it, as much as I really don't see the appeal in him.

Mason Ryan was never really even given a chance, they dropped him at the first sign, and I don't know why, but a lot of times, somebody says something to Vince and that guy is just done. Who knows what happened, but he wasn't given a real chance. And really, more talented than Mason Ryan isn't saying much. Is Ryback really talented? All he's done is a shitty squash routine, I'll bet he's out of gas against Punk within the first 7 minutes.

Doesn't matter. If he manages to last 30 minutes in HIAC with Punk then he will be seen as legitimate anyway.
