Of course the best way to sell TICKETS is to put Rock/Lesnar/Cena on the fucking thing

So, how many years do we have to go through this over and over again -- around this time, they start running ads in magazine and around the area featuring the top draws to sell tickets. It's never the actual poster, and it's rarely indicative of the people that will be featured on the event poster.

And yet, every year, everybody who continually fails to grasp this concept of simple marketing whines and bitches about how it can't be the real poster, who's not on it, and how shitty it looks.

Sometimes, I just wonder about people....

I just took a look to the 1st promotional posters of WM26 and WM27 (WM28 doesn't count) and I think they actually give a big hint of what is going to be featured in the event. What I noticed from this 1st promotional poster is that shows less stars than it usually does and it indeed looks more like an official/definite poster than the others. In my opinion clearly gives us the indicative that the main event at WM will be either Rock/Lesnar, Rock/Cena2 or a triple threat between them. Time will tell.

Interesting poster, but it's just the first poster remember! I was expecting these 3 to be the main focus anywys, i too agree that it's good to see Cena not in the middle! I don't even care if Punk's not on the poster.

How can anyone call that poster interesting? its just three guys faces zoomed in. Plus the same guys from last year's except Brock is inserted in the middle. Very uncreative and repetitive, about time we get different superstars on the poster and a more creative design. Look at all the posters for old WM's, they all had a special look about them, this year's is very generic. Plus i want to see big stars of this year like Daniel Bryan and Cm punk to be big focuses, or even Sheamus, not two guys who barely show up in the year and one who we've had too many times on posters.

I like the poster. Having Rock/Lesnar/Cena featured together in 2012 is surreal. With Manhattan on the background and the Brooklyn bridge on the bottom. They also got a cool WM logo design this year with the Empire State building (we have already seen)...I can't ask for more. I really like it and got me excited.
