Default Re: Rebook a WrestleMania

Wrestlemania 2000

WWF Championship No DQ
Triple H (c) w/Stephanie McMahon vs. the Rock
Winner: the Rock
Rocky won the title at Backlash anyway, so why not let it happen at Wrestlemania. Fans get to go home happy with a face winning at the end. Change the result if you must to have Vince turn heel but I thought it was pretty pointless.

WWF Intercontinental Title Match 2/3 Falls
Chris Jericho (c) vs. Chris Benoit
Winner: Chris Benoit
I took very few booking liberties but I will take one here. To seperate the titles into two matches, let's have Kurt Angle lose the IC title to Jericho before Mania. Jericho wins the first fall with the Lionsault. Benoit reverses the Walls of Jericho into the Crossface for fall two. Benoit hits a diving headbutt for falls three and the title. Essentially let these guys put on a clinic.

Single Match
Big Show vs. Kane
Winner: Kane
Big man match substituting for the absent Undertaker match. I don't think Big Show and Kane was overdone at this point yet.

European Title Elimination Match
Kurt Angle (c) vs. Eddie Guerrero vs. X-Pac w/Tori vs. D'Lo Brown
Winner: Eddie Guerrero
X-Pac and D'Lo are former Euro champs, so let's add them for fun. Eddie became Euro champ the next night on Raw, so let's have it on a Wrestlemania moment. Eddie also joined up with Chyna that night so let's do that, too. Angle can elminate D'Lo with the anklelock. Have Chyna come to the ring and help X-Pac eliminate Angle by pin. This will lead to the swerve of Chyna helping Eddie who hits the frogsplash on X-Pac after Chyna knocks him off the top rope for the pin. Big turn and new champion, all in one match.

Hardcore Rules
Cactus Jack vs. Tazz
Winner: Cactus Jack
Foley out of the main event needs something to do and what better way to get both he and Tazz involved than a hardcore storyline. They can play up their past and Foley goes into the Cactus Jack persona. I personally think the WWF really dropped the ball with Tazz so maybe he gets a chance at some spotlight here.

Tag Team Title Triangle Ladder Match
The Dudley Boyz (c) vs. Edge and Christian vs. and The Hardy Boyz
Winners: Edge and Christian
Keep this exactly the same.

Six Man Tag Match
Rikishi and Too Cool vs. Test, Albert, and Essa Rios w/Lita and Trish Stratus
Winners: Rikishi and Too Cool
Rikishi and Too Cool were super over at this point, so they get the win and the kids get to dance. We also get Trish Stratus and Lita on the card to start some history with them.

Hardcore Title Time Limit Battle Royal
Crash Holly (c) vs. Bob Holly vs. Al Snow vs. Godfather w/Hoes and Ice-T vs. Faarooq vs. Bradshaw vs. Viscera vs. Bull Buchanan vs. Big Boss Man vs. Steve Blackman vs. Road Dogg vs. Headbanger Mosh vs. Headbanger Thrasher
Winner: Crash Holly
Staying with the 13 people limit but shifting some people in and out of the match. Crash retains to keep the 24/7 gimmick going and because someone has to keep their title tonight. Crash could even make a big deal out of being the only champion to retain.

Tag Team Match
Take Michinoku and Funaki vs. Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn
Winners: Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn
Get the crowd into it with a hot opener, let the Radicalz keep some heat

Default Re: Rebook a WrestleMania

I'll do a few 'Manias, but only main-events:

Wrestlemania X8:

Stone Cold vs Benoit
Rock (c) vs Hulk Hogan
HHH vs Jericho non-title

Comments: The Stone Cold vs Scott Hall match was a waste of time. A match with Benoit, though it had been done many times in the past year, would have been better. Rock vs Hogan was the main attraction, so add the belt to maintain its prestige. The way Jericho-HHH became an afterthought made the title-belt look bad.

Wrestlemania XIX:

Rock vs Shawn Michaels
Stone Cold vs Hulk Hogan
Kurt Angle (c) vs Brock Lesnar
HHH (c) vs Booker T
Benoit vs Undertaker

Comments: This was really the last time that Hogan-Austin and HBK-Rock were possible. I would keep Angle-Lesnar the way it was. I would also keep the HHH-Booker T feud but have Booker win. Benoit-Undertaker is a feud we never got see, unfortunately.

Wrestlemania XXV:

Edge (c) vs Jeff Hardy
Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels
Chris Jericho (c) vs John Cena
HHH vs Randy Orton non-title

Comments: In real life, Jeff Hardy won the title at Armaggedon 2008. I would have held that off. Let him win the Royal Rumble and fight Edge at 'Mania (and win). I would keep Undertaker vs HBK the way it was. HHH vs Orton feud remains except without the belt. As for Jericho-Cena, remember in real life Cena returned at Survivor Series 08' and beat Jericho for the belt. I would have held that off. Let Jericho keep the belt until Wrestlemania where he loses to Cena.

Default Re: Rebook a WrestleMania

WrestleMania 27

WWE Championship (Triple-Threat Match) (Special Guest Referee: The Rock)

The Miz (c) vs CM Punk vs John Cena

How I would book this match would be that I would have Miz walk in as champion but with CM Punk and John Cena it would end in a double pin in the Elimination Chamber or some sort of controversial finish where both men would draw with each other somehow, which would result in a Triple-Threat Match with Miz having to defend his WWE Championship against Punk and Cena and I would also bring Rock into this by having him and Cena cross paths but also having him cross paths with Punk and the New Nexus as well as with Miz and Riley but to make things really interesting I would have Rock as the special guest referee in this match adding to the unpredictability of this match, Cena walks out as the new WWE Champion

Last Man Standing Match

Triple H vs Sheamus

I would have had them end their feud on the grandest stage of them all and to have their feud ultimately be decided in a Last Man Standing Match to determine just who the true King of the WWE is, by having Triple H make his return in the build-up towards WrestleMania by having him return early at the 2011 Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant in the Rumble match eliminating Sheamus and himself at the same time and then it turning into a brawl on the outside and then you can build up the feud from there considering it was Sheamus who put HHH on the shelf with Triple H going over to get his revenge by beating Sheamus at Mania 27 but by ultimately making this match more personal, I would have included Shawn Michaels in this feud since Shawn was being inducted into the Hall of Fame by having Sheamus attack HBK to add fuel to the fire

Streak Match (19-0 or 18-1)

Undertaker vs Wade Barrett

How I would build this match up would be that it was Barrett and the original Nexus who helped Kane back at Bragging Rights 2010 to bury Undertaker alive and Taker comes back in the build-up towards Mania 27 by showing signs of his return like at the 2011 Royal Rumble during the 40-man Rumble match Taker's gong goes off similar to Royal Rumble 2004 as a way to scare Barrett which then ends in Barrett getting eliminated from behind by someone, and then Barrett's Corre stablemates end up getting taken out one by one first it is Ezekiel Jackson who gets taken out mysteriously backstage and then the lights go out backstage and when they come back on, Jackson is gone and then the next week a similar attack with Gabriel being the next one who is taken out mysteriously backstage and the lights go out and he's gone and then the 3rd week it happens to Slater, and Barrett is all alone but of course Barrett says he won't be intimidated by Taker because he is a shell of his former self and that he did the world a favor by helping Kane to bury him alive and that he wants Taker to face him in this ring man to man and the lights go out, gong is heard and when the lights come back, Taker is in the ring with Barrett who looks like he is going to take off but instead attacks Taker leaving him laying and then you can build it up more from there with Barrett at Mania taking Taker to the limit but ultimately failing with Taker going 19-0

Randy Orton vs Alberto Del Rio (Grudge Match)

How I would set this one up would be that during the 40-man Rumble match Orton is the one who eliminates Del Rio from the match ultimately ruining Del Rio's destiny of winning the Rumble and in retaliation Del Rio comes back into the ring and attacks Orton maliciously throwing Orton out of the ring and then it turning into a brawl on the outside with Del Rio locking in the Cross Armbreaker on Orton who is tapping like crazy, then your feud is born with this being an inter-promotional feud with Orton being a RAW guy at the time and Del Rio being a Smackdown guy, Del Rio goes over in this feud at Mania beating Orton

World Heavyweight Championship

Edge (c) vs Christian

How I would set this one up would be that I would have had Christian make a shocking return in the 40-man Royal Rumble match returning early and he wins it at the #40 entry, with Christian last eliminating Cena to win, and Christian then goes on to main event Mania but then the next night on RAW Christian makes his intentions known as to which champion he'll face at Mania when both champions are in the ring and he chooses Edge his best friend the World Heayweight Champion and then you can begin your feud with Christian ultimately coming up short at Mania with Edge retaining his title, but then Christian ultimately winning the title anyway at Extreme Rules 2011

8-man Tag Team Match

Kane, Big Show, Booker T, and Diesel vs The New Nexus (Mcgillicutty, Otunga, Ryan and Harris)

How I would set this up would be that I would have The New Nexus target Kane and Big Show instead of The Corre, with them attacking Kane and Big Show only for Booker T to come out to make the save but the numbers game begins to be too much until Kevin Nash's Diesel music plays and he comes out to even the odds and then you can build up the rest of this match here but I would ultimately have New Nexus go over these guys winning at Mania 27

Jerry Lawler w/Stone Cold vs Michael Cole w/Swagger

The feud was already set in stone anyway but I wouldn't include Austin in this feud to be the Special Guest Referee but more or less I would have Austin in Lawler's corner at Mania, and Lawler having his WrestleMania moment by beating Michael Cole on the grandest stage of them all and it all ending with Michael Cole receiving a Stone Cold Stunner courtesy of The Rattlesnake and then Swagger getting one too for good measure and then Lawler & Cole's feud ending at WrestleMania 27 because they dragged that feud on for too long

WWE United States Championship & WWE Intercontinental Championship Unification Match

Daniel Bryan (United States Champion) (c) vs Kofi Kingston (Intercontinental Champion) (c)

How I would set this match-up up would be that I would have Daniel Bryan go on about how he wants a match at Mania and a match where he can actually have some competition especially going on about how he wants to make things interesting by putting his title on the line only for Kofi Kingston the WWE Intercontinental Champion to interrupt Daniel Bryan by saying how he doesn't have a match at Mania either but that he wants competition too and to make things interesting he will put his title on the line also in this match and the winner will have the right to call himself both the United States Champion and the Intercontinental Champion, this match is basically for bragging rights to determine just who is better, with Bryan ultimately winning this match and having his Mania 27 moment walking out as a double champion with both belts in his possession

Dolph Ziggler & Laycool w/Vickie Guerrero vs Trish Stratus, Snooki and John Morrison

I actually liked this match, so I wouldn't change anything about it except that it would be a shorter match because I feel that it took too much time but ultimately would have Trish, Snooki and Morrison win with Snooki ultimately getting the last word where Vickie is concerned

WRESTLEMANIA 26

The Streak vs Career
The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels
(I would have modified a little more so that the WM25 matvh didnt happen. It would have made this more important I think.)

No DQ, No Count Outs
WWE Championship
Batista (c) (w/ Vince McMahon) vs John Cena (w/ Bret Hart)
(Basically just combind the two stories. McMahon and Hart choose their representitives for Mania. Couldnt decide if it should be No DQ or not buy decided to go with it.)

World Heavyweight Championship
Chris Jericho (c) vs Christian
(Christian was on a roll as ECW champ. The announcement of ECW's end comesbefore the rumble so christian decides to start planning ahead and focus on the rumble match. He wins it and decides to go after the world heavyweight championship, which jericho wins already. On the final episode of ECW, Jericho costs Christian the match, making him lose the last ECW championship match ever. The feud follows onto NXT and their respective rookies get involved (wade barrett more than slater). )

Randy Orton vs Ted Dibiase
(Dibiase could have had such a huge face turn. He had the entire crowd behind him one night on raw in the fall. But instead they turned him back into a lackey and he wasnt the same. Orton stays heel and we see the frustration build in Ted. Dibiase ends up "accidently" costing Orton the rumble match and the elimination chamber match. The feud builds up to Mania.)

MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH
John Morrison vs Cody Rhodes vs Jack Swagger vs Big Show vs Dolph Ziggler vs MVP
(Swagger still wins but holds onto the briefcase longer)

Triple H vs Sheamus

Intercontinental Championship
Drew McIntyre (c) vs Shelton Benjamin

Tag Team Championship
Carlito and Primo (c) vs The Heart Dynasty vs SES (CM Punk and Luke Gallows)

Rey Mysterio vs The Miz

NXT BATTLE ROYAL
Winner gets immunity on the first week of eliminations.

Default Re: Rebook a WrestleMania

Wrestlemania 20 winners in bold

United States Championship
John Cena vs Big Show (c)
(Really didn't care for the match so I kept it the same)

World Tag Team Championship
Rob Van Dam & Booker T (c) vs La Restisance vs Dudley Boys vs Batista & Ric Flair
(I took out the Tag Team of Mark Jindrag & Lance Cade and replaced them with Batista & Flair. I had Batista and Flair win to basticly get Batista over since he was gonna be a huge main evener the following year)

Christian vs Chris Jericho
(One of my favorite matches of the entire show. Wouldn't change a thing about it. Kept it the same)

Hardcore Match
Randy Orton vs Mick Foley
(I took the match they had at Backlash 2004 and moved it to WM. Randy Orton wins and gets the Foley rub)

Torrie Wilson & Sable vs Stacy Keibler & Miss Jackie
(Defiantly didn't care for this match so I left it alone)

Crusierweight Open
Featuring all those guys that were in this match.
Winner: Rey Mysterio
(Kept the match the same as the original but had Rey win instead)

Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar
Special Ref: Stone Cold Steve Austin
(This match was awful. Only thing I would change about it is have it go a little longer and not have it be full of who's stronger crap in it)

WWE Tag Team Championship
APA vs Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas vs Basham Brothers vs Rikishi & Scotty to Hotty (c)
( Kept this match the same as the original match, but I would have the APA win just to give them one last run as a tag champs before Ron Simmons retired)

The Rock vs Shawn Michaels
(The one big match I would add to WM 20 would be Rock vs HBK. This PPV was the perfect place to have this match. It should have happened. This match would be match of the night and I would have HBK win since he was going to be staying and since this was going to be The Rocks last match until 2011 I would have him lose)

Women's Championship
Molly Holly vs Victoria (c)
(This match was good I would have it go a little longer)

WWE Championship
Kurt Angle vs Eddie Gurrereo (c)
(This was a great match from start to finish wouldn't change a thing about it)

Kane vs Undertaker
(This was a great storyline for Taker to return as his dead man gimmick. I would have this match just go a little bit longer)

World Heavyweight Championship
Chris Benoit vs Triple H (c)
(First off I thought the original triple threat was a great match. But I didn't have it since I had HBK vs Rock on the card. I would have this match go as long as the triple threat did and I would have Benoit win and celebrate with Eddie just like they did)

Comments please

Wrestlemania 18 winners in bold
Note: Not that much I would change about this PPV only a few adjustments.
Only the matches I made changes to have descriptions underneath

Intercontinental Championship
Rob Van Dam vs William Regal (c)

European Championship
Christian vs Diamond Dallas Page (c)
(Kept the match the same I would just have Christian win over DDP)

Hardcore Championship
(I would have them do that 24 hour thing that they did through out the show)

Kurt Angle vs Kane

No Holds Barr
Undertaker vs Ric Flair

Edge vs Booker T

The Rock vs Scott Hall
(I made this match instead and you will know why in a little bit. The match would be the same thing and same storyline as Austin vs Hall just with The Rock instead)

Tag Team Championships
Dudley Boyz vs Hardy Boyz vs APA vs Billy & Chuck (c)
(I Would only have The Hardys win since they were the most over tag team back then)

Women's Championship
Jazz (c) vs Lita vs Trish Stratus
(Only change would be is having Trish win since it was her home town)

Undisputed WWE Championship
Triple H vs Chris Jericho (c)

Icon vs Icon
Hulk Hogan vs Stone Cold Steve Austin
(This match should have happened at this WM. It was the perfect time. if hogan would have left his ego had home and agreed to let Austin win this match could have happened. I would have this match the same build as Rock vs Hogan except with Austin. I would have Austin win because he was the current face of the company)
