Having Taker vs Ryback this soon would be a desperate attempt to create a new star. That's one of the problems I see with the WWE, it seems they base their decisions on fear and not on a wise planning. They don't turn Cena heel because they are afraid they will stop selling merchandise and that CM Punk or whatever won't be able to fill that spot. Now that the ratings are collapsing, they are afraid, and want to do what they didn't do in 8 years by building a new big star in a day. That's not the best way to make decisions. I say they should protect Ryback's push a little, it's to much weight on him. The crowd in New York is very special, I've been there, having Taker vs Ryback this soon could be a disaster...I would try to feed him gradualy and wait until a later WM to face Taker, but who knows.
The only way I could understand this posible Taker vs Ryback match, would be if Taker has decided to retire next year and end the streak. I don't want the streak to end, but if that's what Taker wants...it would make some sense to have Ryback beat him as it would be a great opportunity to capitalize. All this makes me think Ryback may be a very cool guy with big professionalism to be considered in a match like this so soon.
