Black Cell?
If the cell had to be any color, would people prefer it to be the normal metal color of grey, or have it black instead.
I think the cages being black makes it easier to see the stuff going on inside the cage.
I believe TNA does this with their steel cages, and UFC does it for their cage.
Would people think that having the cell being black, make these types of matches more visible?

Re: Black Cell?
Black is a distracting color. It doesn't work well for TNA.

Re: Black Cell?
^ Agreed. I'm a fan of TNA, but their cage is distracting. They do a good job in terms of how they get the camera views inside the holes in the cage, but I'd imagine it would be a pain in the ass from a live perspective.

Re: Black Cell?
nope, black cages do not make it easier to see. They are darker, duh. Plus the greyish color is traditional now, it would feel different/wierd without it.

Re: Black Cell?
Just be the usual classic Grey, it's probably just because I am used to it but it looks by far the best.

Re: Black Cell?
Black or Grey is fine, I remember watching TNA with red cages god that would be a nightmare at live events. So stick to what works now I guess.

Re: Black Cell?
What about UFC though? They use black for the octagon cage and it seems fine.

Re: Black Cell?
You know what, I wouldn't be against the idea of them redesigning a 'New' Hell in a Cell. I think the problem I have with the match is whenever I see the 'Cell' it gives off the pre 2002 vibe of just how brutal those matches were with Undertaker, Mick Foley and Triple H etc.
I think giving the Cell a new identify would help give it a fresh vibe.

Re: Black Cell?
WWE should have its own identity instead of copying TNA's black cage. A blue cage might be a good idea for WWE actually, since that was the color of the cage pre-Attitude, although the look of their cages is one of the least important things to change to freshen up WWE's product. Their set has been basically the same for 15 years and they've basically used the same logo for 14 years. WWE is basically still using the Attitude Era set and Attitude Era logo, but are presenting a product that resembles the pre-Attitude product more than it resembles the Attitude era product. If WWE is going to continue targeting pre-teens as their core audience, they should adopt a cartoonish look for the product, as they did the last time pre-teens were their target audience. Colorful outfits for the wrestlers would help as well. The problem WWE has is that they want it both ways. They want a pre-Attitude era product that superficially resembles the Attitude Era. If WWE wants a cartoonish product reminiscent of the late 80s or early 90s, they need to fully commit to that direction.
