No, there is no place for it anymore, it's an exhausted concept. WWE does NOT know how to manage it, it's become the sole way for an up and coming wrestler to win their first world title unless they're friends with Triple H to the degree that Sheamus is, and nobody else really is, and they might let RyBack win the right way cause Vince gets a boner when he looks at him. Maybe. Otherwise, it's become a poor excuse to not build someone up, it's always some midcard jobber who wins it, they lose all the time and then they win the title out of nowhere, escape somebody bigger than them for a few months, and finally get jobbed out and get thrown right back where they started. Enough of it.
WWE needs to think of OTHER ways to get the title on people, ways that actually make stars, like winning it in an actual, competitive match. It doesn't even matter if he cheats. I'm sick of this lazy ass, non star making booking, it's pathetic. You can't even do anything else with the MITB. It's been cashed in cheaply, cashed in fairly, transferred from one wrestler to another, cashed in in a losing effort, what else is there? I'm done with it, I don't want to see it ever again. WWE has conclusively proven that they do not know how to use this concept in a way that isn't damaging.
