AWESOME buyrate!

They should've booked Brock to win the WWE title at Survivor Series, and then booked Rock to win the Royal Rumble, which would've set up Rock vs Brock for the title at Mania. fucking WWE.....

TO the guys saying he made wwe the 5million back
They do not get every dollar of every buy they have to split it with the satellite/cable providers which can be up to a 60%cut(forgot which one gets the bigger share)
If anything he has just made them around 1.5 million dollars if we assume all the extra buys were due to him.

He is a draw but not as big as the rock. Considering he was wrestling DA GAME, it was a weak gain.

Watch the rumble, easy 600k buys with Rock vs Punk

Rumble is a bigger PPV. Rock is a bigger star. Of course it gets a better number lol.

I think its 40% cut. Its not only about PPV buys or Ratins, bringing back stars like Rock and Lesnar keeps the company afloat in the share market with the investors. Not too mention the worldwide publicity and Buzz created because of their return. It undoubtedly strengthens WWE's brand name. This is actually very big success for Summerslam considering the market for wrestling today.

I doubt Rumble will do 600k, Rumble and EC PPV this year couldnt otdraw last years buys. I can see something close to 480k buys for rumble based on The Rock's drawing power.

HHH only works with the big stars. If the ppv bombs its the other guys fault. If it succeeds, his marks will give him credit.

Quite the opposite actually. In the internet, HHH hardly ever gets any credit for his starpower, accomplishments, hardwork and passion for the industry. Everything he does or say is immediately regarded as because of his marriage with Stephanie. Hell I've seen people claim HHH 'never drew a single dime' in the business, despite the fact he has been one of the biggest and extraordinarily consistent for years, which only a very few elite superstars in history can match. Triple H might be the most under-appreciated superstar in the wrestling hardcores community.
