So... has Punk lost his Championship?

I didn't watch it last night, but I read this morning that it was a draw? First of all that sounds like SHIT, and that just seems like WWE's lazy way of getting Cena a win in his hometown and for Punk too keep up his momentum.

So has Punk lost his Championship that he's held for so long, I'm confused to fuck here!

Re: So... has Punk lost his Championship?

No, he's still the champion, and it's an un-broken reign (meaning that Cena being announced as the champion for a minute doesn't count as a seperate reign and then it being a draw means that Punk starts a new reign). The champion retains in the result of a draw.

Re: So... has Punk lost his Championship?

Both men's shoulders were touching the ground. Punk retained. They both kicked out of each other's finishers twice (Gts and AA) which made them both look equal.

I believe our anger for the current product stems from the idea that it has so much potential and it's not living up to it. The reason we keep watching is to one day see if it will reach that potential or a level near it. We don't necessarily want the Attitude Era to return, but we want the excitement and the crave to watch more and the need to see what happens next which the Attitude Era brought us.

It was an awesome match actually, and Punk is still the champion.

Yup. Punk is still the champ. Champ retains in the case of a draw.
