Re: Night Of Champions PPV Discussion
Quote:
- Late last night, PWInsider reported that WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross was in Boston for tonight's Night of Champions pay-per-view. They didn't confirm this but speculated that Ross was there to replace Jerry Lawler on commentary.
F4Wonline.com reported early this morning that former WWE Champion John Bradshaw Layfield had been contacted by WWE and they reached an agreement for him to work commentary for Night of Champions and tomorrow's RAW.
Dave Meltzer then speculated that this could be JBL coming back for more than just two appearances. For what it's worth, JBL is set to go to Africa in a week to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro for his Seven Summits campaign.

Re: Night Of Champions PPV Discussion
Kinda just want this Punk/Cena thing to be over with so we can get the next main storyline. They haven't done it for me this time around. Match should be good though.

I can only imagine what the next main event storyline is even going to be. You can bet it will involve Paul Heyman, C.M. Punk, John Cena & possibly either Brock Lesnar or The Big Show, but it will still be about what we've seen all year.

People can't complain if cena wins tonight
I mean the guy has been jobbing for over a year now.
Punk at MITB 2011 and summerslam.
Rock at mania.
Punks had a good and long enough reign with the belt.
You really can't complain if cena wins tonight. Id rather have punk win because im more of a fan of him, but honestly wouldn't be mad if cena wins.

Re: People can't complain if cena wins tonight
I would love to see Cena win, even better if clean. And yeah, he's been jobbing non-stop on PPV since 2011. He's lost to The Miz, CM Punk (2x), Alberto del Rio (2x), The Rock and even John Laurinaitis. Yeah, sure, only one was clean but still, a loss is a loss.

I would hardly say he has been jobbing all year but yeah I think Punk has been champion long enough, I hope Cena wins tonight although it's not happenning. Probably at HIAC

People need to stop using the word jobber in the wrong ways. Cena hasn't jobbed. He's lost, and maybe put over.

Re: Night Of Champions PPV Discussion
I don't care what anybody says really,I still want Punk to retain and I even want him to stay champion for a much longer period of time I'm enjoying him as champion. Its about time the WWE have a champion secure the WWE championship for a long time and bring credibility back to the WWE championship,I hate those transitional champions.Sure I'm a Punk mark,But I still like that we have a long title reign here.

You're a jobber.
EDIT: Fun fact, I actually use the word jobber in my daily life as a derogatory word & it has caught on locally so big now that I even see strangers around the city using it now. Pretty crazy. All started from working at a card shop & other people picking it up & using it from hearing me use it. I guess that's my 15 minutes of fame.
