Card looks alright headlined with a surefire quality main event. I'm expecting a MOTYC. With Punk now fully solidified as a heel champion seeking respect at all costs, with the event taking place in Cena's hometown, and the Paul Heyman factor, the outcome is totally unpredictable. Hot crowd, two of the best workers in the business with chemistry, and an intriguing angle have the makings of a classic.
Orton/Ziggler should be a solid match. They've faced each over over a dozen times on TV over the last couple of years so the chemistry is there to produce the goods.
I'm not really looking forward to Fella/Destiny. The feud has been going on and on, match after match.
Bryan & Kane are simply an entertaining pairing and their antics in this match should be funny as usual. I wouldn't mind if they won the tag team titles and continue to run with the team while its fresh and over with the live audience.
4-Way should be fun and I'm looking forward to some Mysterio/Cara interaction.
I won't get to watch this PPV (going out on Sunday). So hopefully when I come back I hear that this PPV is good and the results are good for the long run.
I'll catch the last match since it's totally unpredictable, but the rest? I just don't give a fuck. It looks to be a decent show though, just not invested in any of the matches, well maybe the tag match too.
Predictions:
Cena over Punk......
Fella over ADR
Ziggler over Orton
Bryan and Kane over R-Truth and Joey
Miz over Cody, Cara and Rey. (Cody is the only one that stands a chance)
Ryback wins the battle royal and possibly wins the US title.
Kane & Daniel Bryan should win but WWE's booking these past few months have been all over the place. R-Truth just needs to get off Tv or go back to jobbing. The guy is just hard to watch.
I expect CM Punk to retain against Cena via cheating or DQ. This will set up either a one on one match at Hell in a Cell or Punk defends against multiple opponents and comes out with a sneaky win.
Sheamus will beat Alberto del Rio. Ziggler will cash in but Sheamus uses the Brogue Kick and Ziggler is awarded the title.
The Intercontinental Championship match should steal the show. I'm hoping to see a Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara interaction but they will probably keep these two distant from each. Either one of these guys can walk with the title but I say Miz retains.
Antonio Cesaro will face the winner of the Battle Royal and as much as I'm a fan of Cesaro I just find it hard to care. Christian is the only opponent that interested me and he is not going to be in it. Brodus Clay would be a horrible choice, Ryback is to well protected and if he wins Cesaro's reign is over, Tyson Kidd is simply not over. There are some solid guys in there like Riley, Drew & possible Regal but I doubt any of them will win. My bet is either Ryder or Santino will win it and is possible that a face Swagger could go for the title as well.
I couldn't care less about the Divas Championship.
Orton/Ziggler should steal the show. Ziggler needs the win more than Orton.
I'm interested in the WWE title, IC title, Orton/Zig and the tag title match. And depending on who Cesaro faces, that match too. I don't think I'll be catching it live since SNF, but I'll probably download anything that turns out to be good the next day.
One match show, but that one match is enough for me. Predictions:
CM Punk retains against John Cena
Sheamus retains against Alberto Del Rio
Dolph Ziggler defeats Randy Orton
Daniel Bryan and Kane defeat R-Truth and Kofi Kingston
Sin Cara defeats Rhodes, Miz and Mysterio
Layla retains
Antonio Cesaro retains
Could you please elaborate in a detailed post how in God's name Ryback is above the U.S Championship title? I'd appreciate that, and I swear to God I am not being sarcastic.
My predictions so far are that Bryan and Kane are going to win the belts, Cesaro beats whoever wins the battle royal because it's still early to even consider having him drop the championship, Sheamus wins with the Cloverleaf and establishes it as his own devastating submission move, CM Punk wins again because would it really be wise to hint at a Lesnar-Heyman-Punk alliance, have Heyman doing appearances live two weeks in a row, all of that just so Punk could drop the title a week later? Like I said in some other thread, we're looking at something bigger than this.
Titus O'Neil @TitusONeilWWE
Off to Boston. Not very happy with the #RAW GM AJ Lee. Blatant abuse of power and she will hear all about it face to Face at #NOC
im gonna be at the ppv guys. Section Bal301 Row 7 seat 3 : man im hoping for an awesome show for sure. I already know DB and Kane going for the tag titles and the WWE title match will be the highlights for me. Hoping Heyman shows up and something else interesting happens. The WWE title and tag Titles are the only interesting championships that have really compelling entertaining stories going on. shame the IC title, US title, heavyweight and Womens lack excitment
kofi need a huge push i want to see this guy in a main event and i think air boom was better than current tag team and may be evan return at noc and take part in pre show
I'm seriously hoping that Bryan/Kane vs Kofi/Truth is a nice long tag match and Dr Shelby is at ringside. I feel like that could be a real sleeper match. 4 good wrestlers.
