Absolutely going to be Ryder. If it was going to be Santino they would've just announced the match instead of going through with a battle royal.
So much for restoring some of the belt's prestige after taking it off Santino. It's being defended in a throwaway match where a participant will be decided in a pre-show match and the champion has been barely more visible than he was without the strap. It's too bad Vince is being a dick and keeping Christian off TV or we could actually be getting an exciting match with some sort of storyline behind it.

If WWE is going with a Cesaro vs. Christian feud as rumored, it should be Christian. It would tie in well with his battle royal return for the IC title shot and while Christian wouldn't likely win this match, it would do a lot to set up this feud. Cesaro would cheat to win and Christian would chase. Cesaro needs Christian now to get him over with the crowd and this feud doesn't need to and shouldn't wait.
If not Christian, then WWE will probably pick Ryback, Clay, or Ryder. But Christian would do a lot more to make Cesaro look like the top heel that he's meant to be.

Final four in the battle royal would be Santino, Ryback, Ryder, and Tensai imo. With Ryback clothelining both Santino and Ryder over the top rope. Christian might be in it but last time they had a preshow battle royal he won so I don't see him winning it again.

Cesaro has to retain and Ryback needs to continue looking strong. If Ryback is in the battle royal, then they've booked themselves into a corner. Either Ryback HAS to win and HAS to win the title, or Cesaro has to retain at the expense of Ryback's undefeated streak; either Cesaro pins Ryback or Ryback gets eliminated. Most likely they'll keep him out of the battle royal to protect his booking. The winner will probably be Ryder or Santino, with someone like Kidd, Gabriel, or Riley as a possible dark horse.

Christian would be a nice little surprise, especially considering his absence lately...
Or even a sleeper like Tyson Kidd who would certainly be a surprise, would put on an exciting 8 minute match with Cesaro on the main card (both technically sound and with some nice high spots), and would be able to sell the shit out of Swiss Death.

Because Cesaro is likely to retain. Ryder is over and is a decent win for him. I doubt WWE will want to beat Brodus, they CERTAINLY won't want to beat Ryback and Christian is being kept off TV.
Santino is a possibility but that match has been done to death lately, Ryder is the favourite imo.
Hopefully they keep Sandow and Barrett THE FUCK AWAY from the jobber battle royal, they are far far above that.
