Punk is going over. Cena's promo basically made it obvious.
"You've been the WWE champion for 274 days and all anyone ever remembers about you is the night you blew a kiss to Vince Mcmahon and left town. "
"But there's one moment, one match that can define the one word you're searching for, night of champions is my hometown. If you walk in Night of champions as the WWE champion against me and somehow leave the WWE champion, well CM Punk that is the moment that will define your existence."
Plus, the plan seems to be Cena/Rock II for mania. Rock/Punk at Rumble, Rock wins the title, Cena wins Rumble the same night and you got your match for WM 29.

Yeah I felt that Cena's promo just basically said that Punk is winning the match. But, I don't see Cena vs Punk ending at Nigh of Champions. Just a feeling. But, I know that The Rock is waiting for the WWE Champion at Royal Rumble. So, whoever is the Champion at the time, will face The Rock. I do see The Rock coming out as the WWE Champion. Punk will lose the title to The Rock. Setting up a title match with John Cena. It is basically written in stone.

I think Cena will win at NoC with Punk regaining the title at HIAC, i just don't see them giving Punk two back-to-back wins over Cena again.

Punk will win at NOC, and then WWE will set up a Cena vs Punk match at HIAC as some sort of "grand finale" between the two, where Cena will overcome the odds and, you know, the same old story.  . |

This is going to be epic, and I can't wait. The two biggest stars in the company. And as already mentioned, these two have an insane amount of chemistry together. Should be a good one. Right now, my prediction is Punk retaining.

Quality wise sure maybe, but general atmosphere no. WWE was on a MASSIVE high around that time. Whilst now Punk's heel character is good it does not compare to July of 2011 by any means.
