At WM27 he was the host of the show, the goal was to get the crowd hyped for the rest of the PPV which is why he did the Wrestle Mania part. According to every live report, crowd was going crazy for every word and it was the biggest reaction on the show so it did its job.

ONE WORD 4 MONTH FROM HELL HE MIGHT DIE BEFORE PAIN AND GAIN
Insanity. I believe that he will do his first appearance on 20 years RAW. After taking the belt at the Rumble, doing another 1-2 RAWs, then coming back the day after EC to start WM29. I imagine that from there he will be 50% of the time. Problem with RAW, is that he's doing worldwide promotion, especially for GI Joe which is going to be big.
Pain and Gain looked great from all the pics from the set, looking forward to it from his movies next year. You also got a special Rock/Angle interaction there.

Re: When The Rock wins the WWE Title at The Rumble
Rock wins the title, Cena wins the Rumble and we get Rock vs Cena 2 for the title. In the interim, Rock does promos and Cena talks about how hes never around. makes him more of the heel in the situation.
it would be illogical to have a SD win the rumble and not go for the WWE title , your a guy who just won the rumble , would you rather main event WM with The Rock or stuck in the opener against some random guy like del Rio or sheamus or ziggler ?
Uh why would they go aginst someone like the rock? be smarter to go aginst the weaker link I.E one of the three you said.*
*Point is not that either wa is more logical they both can work.

Now, being the #1 Contender would be challeng... Perhaps you would have to win A tournementt to get the right to face the Rock.
Bottom line, it would make tge title feel important again. It would make the mid card important again. It would make the tag division important again.
WWE needs more long term champions.
I disagree, what made the WWE tilte big back then was NOT how long someone had it but STORY'S which are hard to do when they are like that
and even then they cant seem to make a story anymore, their long term tilte runs should be the least of their concerons right now
Punk is clossing in on a year and most agree its been... BAD

Because it can't ever be about two guys wanting to beat each other, right? TNA's points thing is/was a good idea. Treat it like an actual sports competition again with SOME drama mixed in, rather than the freaking clown show that it's been for awhile.
True and that's one of the reasons producers love to work with him. He's always doing international tours to promote his movies, and they're not taking it for granted because not a lot of stars on that caliber are willing to do it. Going on the road for 20-30 days from the red carpets worldwide to late night talk shows. It's rare to find a guy with this kind of work ethic and a desire to make anything with his name on it successful.
Like he said himself:
0:05
Hard to know which schedule is more crazy for him, now or 99-03(Especially 2000).

WTF
There's no logic by WWE to let Rock win against its two biggest stars and win WWE title.
He may be a Hollywood actor but the WWE title holder must be present on Raw every Monday.
Fuk mainstream-What is everybody's obsession with mainstream?5 million people watch Raw on USA alone. It won't increase.I don't remember Rock vs Cena increasing viewers that much.If that feud can't increase it,nothing else will increase it in current day situations.
This isn't about "everybody", this is about Vince. For the record, this is nothing new. Vince has been all about the mainstream since day one especially when it comes to WrestleMania. Vince's logic regarding the Rock is twofold (One, to have the WWE vicariously live through the Rock and secondly to build the Rock up as the man for his biggest star (Cena) to beat at WrestleMania). Despite being a part timer, the Rock can easily make the WWE title seem important again.
I think Rock/Punk will end it. Rock is the main event guy when he is around, completely. Plus:
-Punk(who people will WANT to see lose) automatically has a rematch of sorts, so the idea of him entering the Royal Rumble Match is gone there.
-The rumble will either go to Cena or someone else(who will face the WHC, as no-one outside of Cena is facing Rocky at WrestleMania XXIX).
-The PPV will end nicely with The Rock celebrating his WWE Championship victory. The Rock is winning, period. No other time-frame for winning the title makes sense. He wins and holds it, then loses it at Mania 29 before he has to film fully again.(There were ideas of him winning at Mania then vacating the title, but that is not going to happen. Vince will want The Rock to showcase the title during his busy Spring schedule around the world, and of course, Cena will need to beat the Rock)
The PPV will end with WWE Champion The Rock and Rumble Winner John Cena stare down.
