He wasn't talking about physique. CM Punk is a better wrestler than Rock at his peak and there's no doubt about it. He has a ton of great, classic matches under his belt and can go for a full hour, 90 minutes if needed and he has already proved it.

Re: Official The Rock vs. CM Punk Discussion Thread
CM Punk is a better technical wrestler, Rock has always ran on his superior ring psychology and ability to respond to the crowd accordingly when it comes to what moves he should use.

All the search features are turned off during WWE events. It lags the board.

True dat. All he does is post pictures of his insane cardio workouts, i dont buy hes legit tired, hes selling the match like a champ. Besides its obvious hes there to fill the arenas and get everyone paid not have 5 star matches, the nitpicking of the IWC is pathetic. I wouldnt slim down just to have better matches over looking like a beast in movies, no way bout dem movie checks

CM Punk's ring psychology is his strong suit. He's superior to everyone else on the roster in that regard, including Rock. I agree that Rock can "electrify" a crowd like none other so he's superior in that aspect.

Re: Official The Rock vs. CM Punk Discussion Thread
Rock wins again!
This match was slightly better than the RR match IMO. I can see why the stipulation was added to be fair. It added to the story telling of the match when Punk slapped/spat at the Rock or when Punk rock bottomed Rock on the table. It's a shame that the table didn't break but oh well. It either breaks too early or doesn't lol. Some nice spots into the match such as Rock catching Punk mid air and hitting him with the Rock Bottom. Didn't like the referee spots very much but hey, it did add drama into the match. I actually thought Punk would lose when he got hit by the People's Elbow.

Re: Official The Rock vs. CM Punk Discussion Thread
This match was far better than their Rumble match. The psychology was great - Punk trying to get Rock counted out or DQ'd was excellent. Punk came out looking a hell of a lot better and Rock didn't even look gassed (much). The finishing stretch was ok but we all saw the ending coming. Still pretty solid.

So, what was the point in the stipulation?
Seriously. Why even implement it into the match if you aren't even going to utilise it? I can see a number of interesting things happening here, but nothing came to fruition.
Maybe Brock could've come out and F5'd Punk, or when the ref crawled into the ring while Rock was pinning Punk; saw the belt next to them and assumed Rock used it to knock Punk out or whatever. But since the whole thing was inconsequential, the sheer pointlessness of it all kind of irks me.
