Comes to something when the talk is more about how much money one of his films makes or who is the bigger A-list star and not that he is back in the WWE, has a match this weekend lol etc.

Like him or not, we all know he is a big draw for the obvious reasons, but I don't care about that or his films, whilst he's in WWE all I wanna take notice if is his in ring part and is input in the product.

Well this thread is like 600 pages so discussion is bound to divert on to other things eventually

Anyway only Rock movies I've seen since Walking Tall back in like 2004 or whenever are The Other Guys and Fast Five. Both great movies (and obviously Rock only had a cameo in the former, AIM FOR THE BUSHES? )

I watched the movies that interested me personally, I'm not watching any movie just because Rock is in it. In general I'm not that big "movies fan", I usually watch a few movies a year. I watched The Rundown, Fast 5, Walking Tall, Gridiron Gang, The Game Plan, The Scorpion King and Faster. All great movies. The one that I watched the most times and is probably my favorite is The Rundown, Rock's chemistry with Scott was awesome. The talk here was about Rock's status, which in every crucial aspect and by the most respected sources is a legit A-list star for more than 2 years now and is only getting bigger every year.

From his big movies this year, Pain&Gain and Fast 6 looks great and I'm pretty sure that I will see it, Same with GI Joe and maybe Snitch.

The only Rock movie I have watched and enjoyed was probably The Run Down (or Walking Tall as it's called here). I didn't enjoy any of his others or haven't had the desire to watch any.

You're right. I meant 'Welcome to the Jungle' as opposed to 'Walking Tall'

That's The Rundown:

I remember back then they were talking about the Arnold Schwarzenegger appearance here as a "passing the torch" moment. At that time Rock's fanbase wasn't as wide as it is now obviously, he even did a Rock Bottom in the fight scene

Its hard to sell a guy as a legit threat when he cant even headline PPV with the title.

Yes it is. Reeves was paid $15 million base for that movie plus then 15% of box office sales. The Matrix Reloaded grossed $738 million. $15 million plus 15% of Reloaded is almost $126 million.
