I agree Mania 2000 should've been HHH vs Rock one on one aside from Austin & Taker not being there the thing that ruined it was HHH going over.

Rock not winning the title at Mania 2000 was a crime, but at least we got a classic moment at Backlash.

I wouldn't say always. Look at WM20 and the triple threat main event - that was fantastic. But it does have a 'big match' feel when it's one on one for the title.

There is no way the WWE is going to give The Rock a 1 month WWE Championship reign and make him lose it to the guy who just had the Championship for 434 days. Not a chance at all.

Rock is retaining, I have no doubt about it.

The Triple Threat match was not the main event of Mania 20. It was only third from top behind Goldberg/Lesnar with Austin as the ref and Rock'n'Sock vs Evolution.
