Re: Can The Rock really retain the belt at Elimination Chamber?

Question should be change to "Can CM Punk really win the belt at Elimination Chamber?"

Muscle (especially when given via steroids) does not inherently mean that one guy would beat another in a fight. The way a guy's body looks is not that important; CM Punk has legitimate Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training, and legitimate Muay Thai training. I do think Rock would win in a shoot fight just because of his ridiculous size advantage, but if they fought ten times, Punk would probably win 2 to 4 of them.

When you watch UFC, a lot of the time, these guys aren't fucking gigantic tanks who just throw punches with a lot of weight behind them; there's much more to it. Not to mention, this is pro wrestling after all; it doesn't have to mean that one guy who would win in a shoot fight automatically wins the WWE one too.

Stop being so damn ridiculous.

Re: Can The Rock really retain the belt at Elimination Chamber?

Why is this even being debated? It's Rock/Cena twice in a lifetime.

So Cena can go over Rock and get his title back to ass whoop for the next 10 years and be the GOAT in Vince's eyes. Why do you think Cena allowed Punk to surpass his reign? So he can blow it out of the water and beat Sanmartino's record.

I think it's more that The Rock has actually admitted to using them. He's also had some very quick growth periods and steroids isn't exactly uncommon (to put it mildly) in Hollywood where action stars looks are so important.

Re: Can The Rock really retain the belt at Elimination Chamber?

The thing I don't understand is, why does he need the title to bring in money?

Didn't he bring in ratings and money last year with his feud against Cena? He didn't have the title then.
