The finish was terrible. Absolutely ridiculous. I understand that they were trying for a ~LOL SWERVE but I just wish The Rock could've defeated Punk cleanly, and with a finisher more believable than just the Peoples Elbow. Yes yes yes, we've heard it all before, he beat others with that very move, you're right. But a) He'd deliver the Rock Bottom on them first and more importantly b) To have a 434 day world champion have his reign ended with an elbow is pathetic.

Not bothered about Rock winning, but the finish left a sour taste in my mouth.

They way in ended after the restart really wasn't good. Punk looked like he was so fresh and moving freely, then all of a sudden one elbow drop and he's gone

I agree with you that it was too soon to end the match after the restart. I was expecting Punk to kick out and then hit Rock with the GTS followed by a close nearfall. After that, Rock hits the rock bottom again and wins the title. That would have been a better finish IMO. Oh well, at least Rock won

What if Vince overturns the result tonight on RAW because Punk convinces him that the shield never interfered
