- F4Wonline.com reports that word at Sunday's Royal Rumble pay-per-view was that officials were considering a CM Punk vs. The Rock rematch for Elimination Chamber. The original plan was for The Rock to compete in the Chamber match but they may end up changing that.

Re: Official The Rock vs. CM Punk Discussion Thread

I hope so, and I also hope that will lead to a Rock-Cena-Punk at WM. Punk is too good to be left out of the main event.

Re: Official The Rock vs. CM Punk Discussion Thread

Here is something I can't understand...

Taker, despite pushing 50 and his body ravaged from two decades in the WWE, can still come back once a year and put on a damn good match.

So how come Rock, only 40 and never badly injured, can't do half as good?

This is my quandary.

Re: can someone that was there tell me

I was there and close enough to see when the lights went off all the flashes from cameras by the announce table showed the shield put the rock through the table then quickly disappear.

I shall enlighten you with the answer:

Taker is a far, far better wrestler than The Rock.

Really hope they go with Punk/Rock 2 at EC though. There's still plenty to do with that feud.

As good as HHH-Taker was, they really didn't do much other than beating the crap out of each other with chairs, but with the streak on the line, nothing else matters in the eyes of fans. Taker actually was in a very bad shape the last time we saw him in the ring.

Rock as good as he is/was, he was never as good as Taker when it comes down to in-ring ability. Rock relied mostly on his athletic ability, and that fades with age.

BTW, Rock completly ruptured his achilles tendon(Which is a career ending injury) while shooting a movie, 7yrs ago.

Re: Ending to Rock/Punk Match.

For people disputing the power of The People's Elbow

The People's Elbow = The Spirit Bomb

I will post a comment like you have never ever seen before.
Why? Because I can, but you already knew that!
