To me it's not even Rock beating Punk that I disagreed with the most. It's the Cena aspect of this where now we get Rock/Cena II. That's the part that pisses me off about the current state of the WWE

The Shield spot was put in place for Punk in the coming weeks. It's perfect heel material to nag the audience about how he's the true champion and how he actually won etc. Plus it continues the mystery of if he's connected to them for his next angle.

The time has come for them to move on from the ambushing thing though. It's losing steam at this point.

Although the "just throw them in there" theory is very fitting of WWE as well.

The problem is not Punk losing.It's to the person he lost.

Hulk Hogan is the GOAT.So he can just come back anytime and defeat Cena and Punk in consecutive matches.

I think that the Rock was the right man to do the job, but I do wish that the match was five minutes longer after they re-started it. For a title reign that lasted over 400 days, I would have preferred a GTS and a Rock Bottom (both kicked out of by The Rock and Punk respectively) after the do-over, and some nice build up to the People's Elbow.

But still, that's me being nit-picky more than anything. I would have loved if it went down like that, but I'd say that the right person won.
