Of course there's a chance, a slim one, but a chance nonetheless.

They won't they wouldn't let Cena beat The Rock, so I doubt they will let Punk.

I don't think this is nearly as foregone as people are making it out to be. I don't care what anybody says, this isn't a predictable outcome at all.

Re: Official The Rock vs. CM Punk Discussion Thread

I'm still undecided on this match. I'm mostly leaning towards The Rock, because Rock is going to show up on SD, and he's going to 100% main event Mania so might as well be for the WWE Title but does he need the WWE Title? They could very well pull another non-WWE Title main event like last year and just have CM Punk go into WM as the WWE Champion. Doubt it though.

No.

Re: Official The Rock vs. CM Punk Discussion Thread

While watching Main Event, both WWE.com and the show itself were running a story how Maddox and his cameraman got jumped and hospitalized on the SmackDown tapings while he was filming his YouTube show. Not sure why they'd go with that storyline, but to me it sounds like they want to take him out of people's mind that he could even be involved at the PPV this Sunday. It's got to be some kind of a twist to put so much emphasis on this Maddox "injury", right?

I think he may IF, they decide to really "let go of Cena" while I feel they done it, or attempted to, it has not worked, they may very well try it here, but it would be worthless IMO if punk really is leaving soon (few years)

This is about as predictable as The Streak. The ONLY reason Punk is still the champion is because of this match. If Rock didn't come in for Raw 1000, Ryback would be WWE Champion right now.
