I'd rather see The Rock win back the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania than The Royal Rumble since he never got that honor, but that's just the Rock fan in me.

HELL YES! Thats what i also want.

I have this Russo-esque Storyline in my mind:

SURVIVOR SERIES
1. Ric Flair is the new manager of Ziggler since HIAC PPV.
2. ADR is the WHC after beating Sheamus at NOC and retaining at HIAC.
3. Sheamus finally defeats ADR for the WHC after a grueling match.
4. Ziggler (heel) cashes MITB on Sheamus (face-tweener) immediately after the match and becomes WHC.
5. Punk is still the WWE champ and completes 1 year as WWE Champion.


TLC
1. Punk retains his title yet again against Cena and Bryan (or any random 3rd guy).
2. Ziggler (tweener) retains his title against ADR (heel) and Sheamus (tweener).
3. Ziggler's pops keep growing every week, leading to his semi-face-tweener build up


ROYAL RUMBLE
1. Rock-Punk to get interrupted by Lesnar, who destroys Rock, to help Punk retain
2. Brock then enters & wins the Rumble that night.
3. Rock is sidelined for a few weeks, while Lesnar is gunning for WHC carried by Ziggler
4. Ziggler (tweener-face) then retained the title at RR against Sheamus (tweener-heel) in his last shot at the title. Sheamus snaps after his loss.
5. Brock announces his intentions for WHC, but doesn't sign the contract for it immediately
6. It is Heyman's plan that Punk & Lesnar hold the top 2 titles of WWE.
7. Also, Lesnar has never won WHC, so it makes sense for him to go after that title


Elimination Chamber (17 Feb)
1. SmackDown Chamber ends with Ziggler retaining his WHC. In RAW Chamber, Lesnar enters the match with the sole aim of protecting Punk from losing his WWE title (as Lesnar already has his titleshot ready for WM)
2. In the EC match Cena is also there and it is Cena's last chance to get the WWE title off Punk.
3. However at EC, Rock makes his return in his first appearance after RR
4. Punk & Cena are the first 2 to start the EC match, while Lesnar is the 1st one out of the pod.

5. Punk & Lesnar dominate Cena until the next guy (a face) comes out of the pod and helps Cena equalize. Cena and other faces put up valiant effort, but Lesnar & Punk are simply unstoppable. Lesnar eliminates the other 2 guys.

6. Cena somehow survives elimination till the very end, when Rock is the last man out of the pod, and the last 4 are Rock, Cena, Punk and Lesnar.

7. A misunderstanding leads to a fuck up by Lesnar and Punk gets eliminated by Cena. This guarantees a new title holder. However, Lesnar quickly eliminates Cena and we get Brock-Rock showdown in the chamber.

8. The match is quite even, but Punk weasels his way into the chamber and somehow distracts The Rock, who gets F-5'd and Lesnar wins the WWE title.


ROAD TO WRESTLEMANIA (Final 6 weeks)

With Rock & Cena's dreams of winning WWE title shattered, the story takes another twist.
1. Brock is already the WWE Champ, and he also has his RR win.
2. Punk is no longer the Champ and decides not take the rematch against Lesnar (EITHER due to fear of getting his ass kicked by Lesnar, OR also not to break the alliance with Lesnar & Heyman)
3. Punk decides to destroy Cena instead, saying he has a score to settle with him for eliminating him at EC. He says that he disrespected Punk's championship reign, and was the reason for ending it. Punk vs Cena is set for WM.

4. In the main event segment of RAW after EC, Rock comes out and apologizes to the people that he could not fulfill his promise.
5. Zigger interrupts the promo and makes fun of Rock saying how Ziggler has the WHC since Survivor Series, longer than any title reign by The Rock. The promo goes back & forth until a title match is made for LIVE SMACKDOWN SUPERSHOW (Rock returns to HIS show and ratings return along with him)
6. Sheamus has turned heel now. He cuts a promo and we hear a GONG interrupting him. This leads to Taker-Sheamus buildup. Put some captivating storyline in this feud.
7. Rock wins the WHC off Ziggler, while putting him over BIG TIME
8. Brock announces that he is gonna go for Rock's WHC at WM to cash in his RR win.
9. Rock accepts the Challenge and Rock-Brock is set for Title unification match at WM 29


WRESTLEMANIA XXIX

1. Cena finally beats Punk. Or Punk once again beats Cena (doesnt matter to me either way)
2. Taker-Sheamus (heel) with Sheamus becoming No. 21, but getting a huge rub.
3. Rock-Brock ends with Rock becoming the WWE Undisputed Champion of the World. Rock brings in a new championship belt on next RAW.

This came to me today, and it had me wondering. I thought of this little scenario, hear me out.

So either Punk or Cena are going into the RR champion. That's fact. Rock will face one or the other in the main event.

Now this is where I began pondering the outcome. What if this happens: Rock loses clean, and it's a huge shock. Everyone is expecting Rock to take it to set up Cena/Rock II.

If he faces Cena, it could go like this. Cena wins, proves he can beat the Rock, the torch is passed..

Or if it is Punk, he proves he can beat anyone, even the GOAT.

Here's where it gets interesting. Rock loses, and the next night on Raw he comes out to speak. He begins talking about whether or not he has "it" anymore. His time has possibly come and gone. What if the Rock just isn't right for todays WWE.. or todays WWE isn't right for the Rock. That would acknowledge the drastic changes from Rock's time in WWE to the current product. Having him address that would be great and make sense, would it not?

So Rock maybe starts considering retirement.. To end his career with WWE. After this, I'm not sure to be honest with you.

One more huge match at 'Mania? Retirement? A date with Mae Young? Just thought this could lead to an interesting discussion..

One more huge match at Mania, like I said at the end. I could see Rock vs UT possibly occurring.

No, that's horrible. He should become WWE Champion at Royal Rumble (the big 10!) and lose it to Cena at WM29. That seems to be the direction they're heading and for good reason.

He should and probably will retire after WM 30 or maybe 31. If Rock is scheduled to lose to Punk it will be by way of disqualification from either Punk cheating or maybe Brock coming in and hitting the F5 while the ref is knocked out which helps Punk retain. Punk with this character is not beating Rock clean for the title. Unless the WWE wants to go with Punk vs Cena at WM 29 for the WWE Championship. And even then Punk might still cheat. Rock will not face Cena at the Rumble because the rematch should happen at WM. Especially if it's for the WWE Championship and Cena wins. I think that Rock that there are only three possible matches for Rock at WM 29; Rock vs Cena II for the WWE Championship, Rock vs Cena vs Punk for the WWE Championship or Rock vs Brock; non title. I doubt that Brock vs Rock happens because I'm sure that they are gonna use him for Taker. So it'll definitely be Rock vs Cena II or Rock vs Punk vs Cena.
