Regarding the February 12th SmackDown tapings in Little Rock, Arkansas that The Rock is advertised for, CM Punk has been added to those tapings. This is the final show before Elimination Chamber.
Punk was also added to this weeks Smackdown tapings for go home show for Royal Rumble
Re: Official The Rock vs. CM Punk Discussion Thread
What a waste of talent heading in to this mania, Rock V Brock and Taker V Cena, would be a phenomenal PPV, that can culminate into Rock V Undertaker at wrestlemania 30, arguably one of the biggest matches ever. The angle would be simple, Rocky has beaten everyone, he came back and beat everyone, now the only thing left is to take the streak, despite Cena being pushed as the #1 guy in the last decade, Undertaker has still been the man, light workload or not.
Something like this, but at Wrestlemaina 30,
This is just what I want of course, might not be the most logical idea.

That's up for debate for what is bigger between Undertaker's streak and a 400 day reign. Both of them are pretty big, if you ask me. For a great deal of fans, it's the first 400 day reign they are seeing in their life.
I don't know about nobody buying CM Punk facing the Undertaker at Wrestlemania or him main eventing Wrestlemania. I think it will do a good buy rate with him in one of the big matches. I don't think Punk being in a main event match is going to convince people not to buy the show.
The Rock has put over CM Punk in a huge way. Now has been the perfect time for him to truly come into form.
Again, not just anybody gets a 400 day title reign, much less in this era where titles change so often.
Well it's not the first 400 day reign I have seen. And his 400 day reign is meered in mediocrity. Miz matches? Del Rio matches? Ziggler matches? Ties with Cena in Boston? A feud that revolved around AJ as the lead character? This is not good stuff. This isn't even passable. This is NOWHERE near as big as Goldberg's run in 1998. Not even close and Goldberg's WCW title run is NOWHERE near as respected or cheered on as Taker's streak.
I do believe that Rock and Punk want to have a classic encounter at Rumble in probably their only one on one match before booking starts becoming obsessed with John Cena again.

You know, it may just be my crazy brain and it's crazy thoughts, but I could swear I've seen that Rock No Way Out 2000 video posted here before... at least 3 times.
Oh, and while I'd be psyched for Taker/Rock Wrestlemania 30, watching that video now that ashes11 posted, I don't really like the video too much. Meh, once again, may just be my crazy brain. <_<

i have posted it before, but that was just a video of 5 of his bigger ovations that he has received, i wish i had his night after the royal rumble 2000 promo, but wm30 should be rock/taker for the streak.

Ah, alright. Got confused since it was the first one in that video, and thought it was just gonna show his pop from later on in the match as well so I didn't bother watching the rest (which is the one I believe you've posted in the past).

yeh but the 4th 1 is my fave but i don't have the full pop that's only half the pop he actually got that night, i just can't imagin how big of a pop he would have gotten if he returned in msg in 2011.
Re: Official The Rock vs. CM Punk Discussion Thread
Fuck it...I'll gladly give my money to Punk and Rock just to see a classic battle. I really could less about the rumble or the winner because either way I'll be disappointed.
