I want to believe that but at the same time, I have learnt that I can be never 100% with this company. I was sure that Jericho was going to win the rumble, I was sure that Brock Lesnar was going to beat Cena and etc. The dirtsheets are saying that Rock is winning but they also said Ryback, Cena and Daniel Bryan were going to beat CM Punk and that never happened. I can't be too sure.
I will mark out if Rocky wins though

Not really since most of the fans that are attending Wrestlemania knows that the Rock is leaving that night anyway.

The best thing fans can do is leave before the Cena/Rock match Vince would get the point if his big main event rematch is treated to an half empty stadium. But as much as the feud sucked last year their are enough casual fans who can see that match main event Wrestlemania every year which is why they are doing that and not Lesnar/Rock which is the bigger and fresher match.

I'm pretty sure he's booked for the next night at least.
Don't think trash is going to get thrown in the ring in this era though. Last time it happened in the E (don't count ECW ONS PPVs) was WM 16 I think which was coincidentally involving Rock going for the belt.

Re: Theories On How Punk vs Rock will go down
Dirty win for Punk, pretty much as OP describes. Rock is in the Elimination Chamber PPV, as the poster advertises, so will likely be in the 6-man title main event, and can win the title there. That way, Raw house shows will only run w/o a world title match for one month rather than two months. Also, prevents Rock from humiliating the current generation; a dirty win for Punk is still better for the current generation than a loss.

Re: Theories On How Punk vs Rock will go down
Dirty win for Rock. Maddox makes a fast count. This of course after the Shield, Cena, Ziggler, Ryback, Orton run in.
The win is thrown out and Maddox is fired from Raw. Setup elimination chamber.

Re: Official The Rock vs. CM Punk Discussion Thread
Anyone else see Lesnar helping Punk retain at the Rumble thus setting up Rock vs Brock at Mania?
