I love it how people say that Punk is a midcarder or he's not a star. Right, because just anybody can have a 400 day WWE Championship reign. Just anybody can even get camera time with The Rock, let alone promos, a brawl and a one on one match with him for the WWE Championship at a big four pay-per-view.

Totally not a star. All these people on this forum who say they could beat Punk in a fight, I highly doubt it.

Just got properly caught up with the whole Punk/Rock thing 100% and can easily say this is far more interesting that Cena/Rock. The promos between the two seem more intense and less 'cartoon like' plus, there is an actual heel in this feud, which Cena/Rock probably lacked dearly.

It would only make sense for WWE to let Punk win this thing at Rumble and establish him as the superior star of today but, WWE in recent years is known for abysmal booking decisions. Hopefully they do the smart thing and continue to build on Punk and not have Rock win and main event Mania again for another big buy rate. Sure, everyone wants to make a profit but, make a profit for one night or make a profit for the foreseeable future with Punk finally established and doing something Cena couldn't do in beating, Rock? I know what I'd choose.

Maybe 'being established' isn't the right choice of words, hopefully some know what I mean by it.

CM Punk is already established. I mean, the guy has held the belt for over 400 days so what more can he do? Rock has already put him over by saying how dangerous Punk is and how being the longest modern champion is a great achievement. Plus, even if Rock wins it doesn't mean Punk is completely buried. Rock is possibly the best person to win the belt because at least he will keep the credibility in the belt that Punk has restored. And if the dirtsheets are true about Punk facing Undertaker for the streak then that just shows that WWE have strong plans for Punk this year.

Dude. It's a work. What's the matter with you? His 400 day reign was selected by the McMahons. He's not a REAL champion like Floyd Mayweather or Serena Williams. HAHAHA. This is crazy!

That doesn't even make any goddamn sense. If Punk couldn't get established when it MATTERED in 2011 at his hottest, he damn sure isn't gonna turn the corner in 2013. His problems go back to Nash power bombing him every week and getting no payback. His problems go back to HHH beating him for NO REASON and then him accepting it the next night and becoming his tag partner. That's why CM Punk's reactions has never been the same and why he doesn't draw. Because all of this crazy talk about "going for the big buyrate" and all of that...let me tell you something..when Rock gets too busy at some point and they can't depend on him, CM Punk and John Cena aren't gonna cut it. They'll run to Austin..they'll run to somebody. GUARANTEED. They're lucky Raw is getting as high as rating as it's getting with this horrible show content by the week and Cena kicking out of 5 finishers in one match.

Rock/Cena II doesn't interest me in the slightest. Their WrestleMania 28 match wasn't anything near the hype that was generated and certainly doesn't deserve the moniker of the Hogan/Rock of this generation, it was nothing of the sort.

It' going to happen again like it or not because I guess Vince feels their is nothing bigger to use The Rock on for Wrestlemania as John Cena is only person in the whole company that is really a star. I agree I don't want to see it again but when WWE only really has 1 star of this generation what do you think your going to use The Rock for? Your not going use him to make new stars sadly but your going to use him to get the most buys for Wrestlemania and their are more then enough fans that will eat up Rock/Cena no matter how many times it happens.
