Let's be real here.
Anyone who wants the Rock to win the title is being a foolish mark. The Rock is not a full time wrestler, he returns once in a while to do stupid, unfunny shit. If he wins the title over someone who works almost 365 days a year, WWE is seriously fucking pathetic. There is no reason at all why the Rock should win. You don't have to like Punk at all, you can hate his guts, you just have to look at the situation and see how fucking stupid it would be for the Rock to win.
Even if he does somehow win, he will defend it at WM, showing up once in a while until then, anyway, just to lose it two months later.
Fuck this shit if the Rock wins.

Rock winning puts the spotlight on the belt, don't really mind if he loses or wins personally since I'm a fan of both him and Punk but Rock winning it has its benefits too.

If the Rock can show up to every RAW (and a few Smackdown's) go ahead and give him a brief title reign. Unlike most legends and part timers, Rock is actually a legitimate threat. Austin's body is at best well-worn and the rest. And as I've said, The Rock doesn't need to win, I don't need another chocolate bar, but it's tasty/ entertaining.
And honestly at this point I don't think there is a single guy on the roster who can take the title from Punk and not make it a massive anti-climax, even Cena.
As for who's winning, I still lean towards Rock because of him doing the Chamber PPV.
The feud sort of suffered from Monday, it could have even been given 30 minutes from useless clip shows that didn't need exist, but whatever.

Nothing in my post had anything to do with being a mark.
You're being a typical Rock mark thinking he should win for stupid reasons. The Rock has no reason to fucking win.
I have nothing against the Rock, I like him, but, he's not a full time wrestler, he needs to fuck off.
Stop being a blind mark. The championship will be just as irrelevant if he wins as anyone else. The belt doesn't mean fuck all anymore, it's just a prop.

I don't think there's anything wrong with Rock winning, so long as he appears on the show every week as any other full-time wrestler would. Like Gimmicky said he's still in great shape and can still work the same as he used to. I don't think it's particularly a bad thing if he wins and he might even bring some older fans back into the show (not that the WWE would keep them for long if they continue booking like this).
However I would rather Punk win, if only to extend the feud to Wrestlemania. This feud deserves better than 4 weeks of build-up, and I really, really don't care to see Rock/Cena again. Rock/Lesnar is a possobility but would WWE really book two guys returning for a short time for the main event of their biggest PPV of the year? (probably)
Regardless, I think Rock is probably going to win this just so we can get Rock/Cena II. I'm not really looking forward to it, but eh, it could be worse.
