Did anybody notice CM Punk's ovation last night?It matched Rock's heel ovations in late 98/early 99.This guy may really have 'it' to become the next megastar like Rock/Austin/Hogan.

Punk shouting 'JUST BRING IT!!!' made that segment for me. Finallly, pun not intended, a heel that doens't run away from the face.

Since Wrestlemania 2011 he's nothing but put Rock and Punk over. LOL that he needs it the least.

Except we've already seen Punk as a Main Event face and boy was that underwhelming.

I know he's going to get more Championship runs but still you could do some much more with him at Wrestlemania. How about Undertaker/Cena? how about maybe making a Cena/Rock/Punk triple threat match but he has to have another one on one match with The Rock no sell everything that is said to him because of his rise above hate bullshit only so WWE can ham up how much beating The Rock means to John because of a rough year that Cena has been unable to sell.

To be fair, they weren't ever booked as something important either. Also, they should have never, and I mean NEVER, had him go against Nash and HHH. That stole all his thunder, pushed him out of that badass rebel role, and made him just another face champion. Before that Summerslam run in, Punk was white hot. If Nash had never interfered and HHH never have beaten him, we might already have that next megastar. As it is... this Rock feud could finally get him over. He's starting to get those massive cheers again and he's showing an edge that just hadn't been there for over a year.

Wow. What a bad Raw in general. The Rock and at the end Punk saved the show. I love this feud they are doing both so great. Unbelievable.
The Rock N Sock promo was epic. Good old days.
The first song of The Rock concert was ok. Not really good, but it got the crowd going.
The Vickie Song was just awesome and hilarious. Almost as good as the Sacramento one back in 2003.
And the crowd was really into it. Overall great segment and it did it's purpose to entertain.
Then The Rock pushed all the entertainment factor aside and got down to business by calling out Punk. Awesome.
Raw energy, great promo and he sold Punk like a million bucks.
The brawl was the icing on the cake. Overall a really strong segment and I'm more than hyped for next week and the Rumble.

I'm not a Rocky ass-licker, but what would the WWE do without him? Having the 1000 feud of Punk vs Cena? Yeah, great.

Last night's segment felt rather underwhelming and short. Despite 3 hours, the full segment was barely above 10 minutes and the brawl lasted about 1 min. Rock better win at the Rumble. Also Punk looks horrible with that bald hair.
