Well there's lots of programs you can go into that he could have had. I think HBK would probably have been the first possibly, I think they would have slowly built into a program with Cena if they had the likes of HBK, Batista, Orton (at the time) and it would have probably have been a respect feud with Cena and Cena going over with the handshake type deal.

When he came in 2011 the problem was there was literally no one for him to face up but Cena and Cena would instantly be the heel in that moment.

Man, Ziggler is such a try-hard when it comes to being funny. Sheesh that was bad!

Default Boxing with God

"Your arms are too short to box with God". Greatest line in any promo I've ever heard watching Raw.

I don't know why but this is the sort of line that should go down in history along with Austin 3:16 etc. But it just didn't and got mixed up in the promo.

I think the Cena program was always going to be first because it was the basis for his return and he saw the opportunity to turn the real life situation between them into a money feud. Would have been hard to just ignore Cena for months when everybody were asking for this match for 6-7 years at that time. But the cast of opponents he had back then, easily could have filled big PPVs for 3 years. The HBK match is always going to be the ultimate missed opportunity.

The HBK match never happened really because of HBK's backstage politics back in the day. It's Shawn's fault we never got to see the match in the end, he just couldn't accept that Rock was born to be the top star.

I am not looking forward to the Cena/Rock rematch at Wrestlemania if that is the direction they are going in. I think what Rock & CM Punk will be doing for Royal Rumble will blow that out of the water as Punk does not have the whole Rise Above Hate BS holding him back from wrestling character psychology 101.

It's actually painful to read Ziggler's tweets just because of how pathetic he is being. Dude's awful.
